  • The documentary claims no natural resources yet conspicuously ignores the fabulous location in the Malacca Strait. The port and airport would seem to be hugely important in the development of Singapore, yet no mention here.

  • It is perfectly understandable why over a thousand citizens a year continue to leave this city-state run by the current dictatorship in power, and revoke their citizenship. Instant chinese had to be made citizens to replace the thousands of people that have left-for good. Foreigners just keep coming and taking the jobs of young men that are "away" conscripted into NS---for what?? Those that choose to not understand the concept of freedom, and even deride it, almost deserve to never have it.

  • @sandye2100 sorry, just a question. erm, was it you who stated that singapore is infamous for it's cruelty and barbaric actions? :/ can you define what it means by violence and barbaric in singapore?

  • @neveraperfectperson Don't you have access to the internet? You know you can try to educate yourself about Human Rights, Tyranny, and Freedom. Try looking up definitions and methods of Barbaric Torture, and Violence, and then learn about how Singapore's government legalized brutality. That will help you with some answers.

  • @sandye2100 i'm asking you politely and yet you replied me such an attitude of yours. psh. forget it.

  • @sandye2100 oh btw, if you have any hatred towards singapore's govt, next time, just gtfo videos regarding it. whatever you think, you're just being ignorant and low. Just to let you know, if Singapore isn't having such "BARBARIC" rules, it isn't Singapore any more and the citizens wouldn't have a safe place to stay. wells, now shoo, back to your own delusional world, thinking how bad and stupid Singapore is.

  • @neveraperfectperson What are you talking about? The civilized world already knows that Singapore is run by a Barbaric government and the evidence is seen with the draconian laws, the continued brutal beatings of men by sadists in prison, and in the mandatory death penalty. You need me to tell you how sick singapore is???

  • @sandye2100 oh no thank you. i think the sick one here is you. hating on Singapore, YET commenting on videos about it? Are you too free and stupid? Why don't you take up some civilised courses during your free time. They teaches you how to NOT spread rumors and stupid opinions. Understand? OH RIGHT...... i forgot, you're always the correct one. Whatever you say, it's true. (;

  • @neveraperfectperson ANY government, ANY person that approves, condones, or is involved with the uncivilized barbaric Torture of human beings should be both hated and insulted. The internet is great in exposing human rights violations. Many free civilized decent people are not aware that in the 21st century barbarians do exist in Singapore. Many cannot believe this sick violence still exists--but it does...No rumours just facts.,,, Am I Free--YES--Are you stupId--YES!

  • @sandye2100 oh so you resorted to insulting me? oh my lord.... tsk. grow up kiddy. (;

  • @sandye2100 if you dont commit crimes you wont need to be DISPLINED. not tortured. -.-" retarded bitch

  • @sandye2100 are you some western fuck who's got too much time on your hands? cuz the traditional asian method of "torture" is te reason why we dont have so many documentaries about criminals and their lives. thats why we are safe. btw, sg is one of the best countries. extremely modern and this whole miracle happened in only like 30 years. sgreans are patriotic as hell so dont mess with us.

  • @sandye2100 btw. i LOVE hong kong <333 sososososo MUCH! so dont give your ppl a bad name. oh and if hk were so safe why is the crime rate, gangsters and drug abuser rates higher than sg huh?!

  • @warbum57 PS - Germany, Switzerland, Austria n more are all below 1.0 per 100k

  • because they educated their children

  • You have Nothing if you are not FREE. IT doesn't matter how rich you may be if you live under a repressed regime. And, Singaporeans are oppressed people and yes they live under a repressive government that has kept the city and its citizens from ever achieving anything close to greatness. Singapore is infamous for what?? Cruelty.

  • @sandye2100 im singaporean! and i feel free! and happier than if i were on holiday somewhere else in this world. I LOVE IT HERE. come over and take a look at the place yourself!

  • I LOVE SINGAPORE!

  • GO FADED HOLY SOILDER!

  • All viewers please note, ignore all comments that deem offensive to you as they are likely from users hired by organizations aimed to promote political instability or simply trolls. Everyone in this world is entitled to his beliefs.

    Thank you.

  • Yes Tawainese officials are concerned about two of their male citizens being sentenced to 15 lashes with barbaric torture in Singapore. Tawain, another civilized "Asian" society is astonished, as is the rest of the modern world, that this backward third world government not only allows, but commits this legalized cruelty. Singapore is surely the place for perverted homosexual sadists that love beating and mutilating the bloody flesh of nude men. Shameful to all Singaporeans

  • LOL Is Singapore the ONLY Asian society with "Asian" culture?? What about Tokyo, Hong Kong, Seoul, Bangkok etc.? Don't these Asian places have disciplined rules? Do they have judicial floggings? The answer is NO. It Is the SINGAPORE government that is Barbaric. I love the ridiculous old "brainwashed" arguments of east versus west society in trying to defend the sadistic cruelty and the torture of men. Lesson in Humanity number one---STOP trying to justify cruel, degrading and inhumane actions.

  • @sandye2100

you from what country? if you don't like Singapore so much. hand up your pink or blue IC. and balek kampong. tyvm.

  • Haha...its so funny people are having this mindset that singapore is like north korea. They are so narrow-minded because they are egoistic and think that everyone must follow what they believe is humane and democratic. And they think singaporeans are not well-travelled and are brainwashed by the gov. Hoho. SO many of us are studying overseas or living overseas, yet we are dying to return to sg after studies after seeing all the turmoil and unrest overseas.

  • All say and no proof? FAIL.

  • Comment removed

  • And I'm sure Singapore has its drug problems too, but definitely not as rampant as those '1st world' western countries. Sex between men illegal? I'm sure police don't go around knocking at everyone's door just so that they can catch MSM in the act? Oh and apparently oral sex is illegal (not sure if it has changed). And what do you mean by cold blooded torture? Caning? And death sentence? I'm glad these are in place as they serve as huge deterrence. If you don't do it, why would you be afraid?

  • Comment removed

  • @scorpioo apparently the western society believes in individualism, and they would prefer to be raped in public than have their rights robbed off them. They would rather their wallets stolen on the streets than the government to cane them in the prison. Apparently they know nothing about the Asian culture. ( now they are going to say asians are therefore barbaric), because in Asian cultures, it seems like 'fear' and 'rules' will keep you disciplined. It is evident in most Asian societies.

  • There are no civil rights in Singapore and the laws are unjust, unequal and discriminate. It depends who you are and what sex you are as to what penalty may be imposed upon you. Injustice in Singapore is rampant with judges that are nothing more than criminals themselves implementing barbaric inhumane sentences that are illegal, and violate international human rights laws. Extreme vicious violence mandated by cowardly 21st century barbarians.

  • @sandye2100 sg is a good place! im living in sg for 30years.

  • There are those too blind to see and naive and believe there is no drug problem in Singapore. They believe all the government propaganda shoved down their throats, even though all press and all media is censored. They are too stupid to realize that all crime is not reported to the public so that a false sense of safety is presented. Always protest against tyranny and degrading inhumane acts upon human beings because coldblooded torture and a barbaric death penalty never "works out" for anyone.

  • Why would we want to protest against the mandatory death sentence if its the reason why we don't have a drug problem in Singapore? If you're so thickskinned and badass enough to try and break the law, then pay the damn price. Because OUR laws have been working out just fine for us!

  • First of all, there's no such thing as a peaceful protest. The fact that one even thinks of protesting is because you cant follow rules. Trust me, laws and rules would not be implemented unless some good would come out of them. One thing I'm proud to be a singaporean for is that if you do something wrong, Justice will be served.

  • Yes singaporeans should have the right to peacefully take to the streets and protest against tyrannical rule. Protest the government threatening to arrest people under the Internal Security Act without detention or trial. Protest unjust laws including those that criminalize sex between men but not women. Protest legalized barbaric torture and injustice and censorship with no free press,no independent judiciary. Demand respect for ALL life and an end to mandatory hangings. Choose to be FREE!

  • You know what sandeye,

before you go all ape shit

let me tell you : Malaysia - hanging USA - hanging, poison, electrical chair China - Hanging

    brunei - hanging

    India - hanging

    Japan - hanging

and about 120 plus more countries..

And p.s : most of these countries rule like us

p.p.s - when was the last time you went out to the sun?

bye bye - anti-social, no life, unheeded flamer.

  • @fanmbv31 And,,,,Your point is?? Are you trying to justify Barbarity by pointing to acts of other countries?

Violent barbaric torture, injustice, and death are instilled into Singaporean society and accomplished through brainwashing by a ruthless brutal regime.

FALSE,,most countires are NOT ruled by third world millionaire criminals like Singapore is.

  • @sandye2100 Are you a Singaporean or are you basing your opinions based on whatever you read? I'm Singaporean myself and I don't feel that the country is unjustice, or we have too little freedom. Maybe you can say that I have been 'brainwashed' but hey, I feel happy and safe in my little country. I'm currently studying in OZ and I feel worried for my own safety every time I'm back late and the streets are dark. Freedom comes with sacrifice too.

  • Now Mr joneslife, racist as he is, makes some kind of argument about white people knowing full well how racist Singapore has become. Blatant racial discrimination against Indians and Malays is rampant in Singapore as more and more chinese are brought in to replace the thousands of singaporeans that have left forever. Again I state Singapore has one of the highest emigration rates in the world, many include males not wishing to serve NS (the only military in the world still beating its soilders).

  • Mrjoneslife has followed me around the internet for months desperately trying to defend the barbaric government of Singapore. He knows fully well freedoms are trampled upon. human rights are violated and the populace has been robbed of their basic fundamental freedoms. We have discussed all of this before. He rambles on about "My style of democracy" LOL and has no clue

about what democracy really is. He will pick out this freedom but leave out another and is aware of censorship but ignores it.

  • There will be ifs and buts and all kinds of sceptics about Singapore. True, it may not be perfect as isn't anything on this planet. Noone could deny a fact though that it is one of the most (if not THE most) successful countries in the world. What singapore has achieved is simply remarkable. Good governance is one of tha main factors here. All I can say about that is THANK YOU to them that I can at least visit this beautiful and nice city during my holidays.

  • @gangzw Singapore may be successful ecconomically only. This was achieved never by "good governance", but by a ruthless tyrannical rule governing people as "digits" (a term used by the brutal bastard LKY himself). Tactics used included fear, torture, death, destroying a constitution, stealing freedom, making a mockery of the rule of law and snuffing out any dissent. Add all of this together and add foreign countries trading and doing business with the barbarians running the "good government."

  • I will like that this economic model would have been implemented in Puerto Rico but dissapointly Puertorrican politician are not open minded and lack of vision

  • @TheMosaico522 Hey man, I can't agree with you more. I live in Puerto Rico, and this is so possible for us, but most Puerto Ricans just want to suck it up all to the US and vote for parasites that don't want progress..... Sometimes I just wish I could be a governor and finish this crap of corruption ASAP :/

  • Unfortunately, I wish they wouldn't go overboard with the foreign talent.

  • Why the chinese song :(

  • The country is NOT like a country at all, but rather a business entity or corporation. The dictatorship's human rights violations include arresting foreign journalists, bloggers, lawyers, or anyone that oppposes it. There is no free speech or assembly and basic freedoms are denied. International outrage continues toward the barbaric third world justice system with archaic laws, court sentences of torture based on (male) gender, and mandatory hangings. Disneyland with the death penalty-Miracle?

  • @sandye2100 To say that is being overly critical of Singapore. Singapore is moving away from such governance and is starting to have more people oriented power. Being a Singaporean, every single thing you said, seems a little to overated. Don't question free speech, assembly or basic freedoms, alot of this was done in the last election when Singapore showed much of its discontent of certain government policies and methods of execution. And would you stop quoting Gibson without giving him credit?

  • @scriptons I am sure you mean negatively critical rather than overly, nevertheless there are many positive uses in critical thinking. It is important in being committed to helping change what is wrong both socially and politically; and it is my intent to purposefully do that even if perseived as negative. My criticism is directly linked to my commitment to the social and political practice of participatory democracy, of which there is basically none in

    Singapore. Speakers corner=Free speech-NO.

  • @sandye2100 BTW are you rich? Maybe you arent. Go live in a rich environment. you will understand what I mean. It seems you are living in a poor environment, or a place with high income gap among rich and poor. So you constantly need a voice to voice your displeasure and anger. Right here, in singapore, 1 in 5 households are millionaires. Needing a voice is secondary as long as our lives are filled with prosperity and content. Or maybe you are just a lunatic rights activists. All the best!

  • @scriptons Blatant violations of human rights and denial of Basic fundatmental freedoms of citizens must and should be questioned. Though discontent may have been shown recently during elections, nothing has changed. I mean to draw attention to every single thing I mentioned regardless if it seems overated as I am stating the truth of a ruthless barbaric dictatorial governing authority. I don't need to credit a metaphor, and Disneyland with the death penalty is readily recognizable as Singapore.

  • @sandye2100 are you a singaporean? If you are, good for you. Continue fighting. But it seems you are not. I think you dont even live in singapore, and you arent really certain whats exactly happening here in singapore, and you are reading from sources that seem to be very critical about singapore's lack of freedom of speech. Why not you talk to our singapore government yourself, if you think you are that influential. I have been seeing you spending half your life commenting about singapore.

  • @MrJonslife Thank you sir for your response to,,,,my comments. Of course I will continue to point out the lack of freedoms in Singapore by the current authoritarian government, of which you sadly support. The internet is useful to help expose the billionaire dictator and family that rule Singapore relentlessly with a sadistic iron fist and misuse the law. I have never advocated isolated incidents of mob rule, but promote peaceful non violent protests, freedom and democracy above tyranny.

  • @sandye2100 - you are talking cock and bull stories. As a ordinary citizen, we are given so much freedom to of expression except you falsely tarnish leaders with wild accusations. Look at every flat in singapore , you simply can find 98% of flat owners having aircon, hundreds of thousands going overseas, fresh graduate coming out to work, more than 90% got work within 6 months with at leas s$2500/- per month compare to many foreigners having to leave their country coming here to work,FACTS!bro

  • @DIXIEBOY68 It is really ridiculous responding to you for you simply cannot grasp the concepts of freedom or human rights of which Singaporeans have neither. Because of the one party regime in power Singapore has a shameful international reputation: that of a barbaric dictatorship.

  • @sandye2100 All right. I can tell you a fact-I am studying in one of Singapore (and the world)'s top junior college. And I can tell you, after 18 years of living here, we have every human right and freedom to do whatever we want so long its legal. We aren't dogs. And what you call 'barbaric dictatorship' is actually a very strict Penal Code that is part of our success story model. Obviously you haven't lived here. When you do, I honestly think your opinion will change.

  • @blubber55555 Excuse me--- basic human rights and freedoms in Singapore are curtailed and repressed and civil liberties are trampled upon by the one party government---and those are facts. The penal code IS absolutely Barbaric so whatever success stories include the actions of animals in power that carry out mandatory state sanctioned hangings (for crimes other than murder) and medieval sadistic rituals brutalizing human beings.

When you travel abroad your opinion will change perhaps.

  • @sandye2100 "travel abroad your opinion will change perhaps".. LOL, yes sometimes i wonder if having the freedom to march on the streets chanting and protests makes you more human. And when I go other countries and get involved indirectly in protests, I wished I were in Singapore. Firstly, there are injuries. Secondly, they disrupt daily life, transport, economy. Thirdly, they get nothing out of it. We singaporeans cannot take to the streets to protest, but we are allowed to voice opinions...

  • through other platforms. Protests make you a freer person? I think the Occupy Wall street protests are retarded. Yup the people protest on the streets. Do the governments heed their advice, and say yes, citizens you are right, lets follow what you say. Oh NEVER. Singaporeans are not so stupid to waste our lives on useless shit either. Babaric punishments? They deserve it. Drugs? Drug dealers destroying other peoples' lives. They deserve to die.

  • @sandye2100 By the way, if you have nothing good to say about the miracle of a 50 year old country who can rank higher in the Human Developement Index than a country twice its age, I suggest you stop leaving your nasty comments. Because I love my country for giving me everything I have now, and for giving me a scholarship so I can study medicine at Oxford next year. And it truly is not what you say it is, and it hurts me to see my lifelong benefactor being shitted on. Thanks.

  • @blubber55555 When you do travel to the UK perhaps you will not return like the other thousands that have left Singapore never to return. Another fact for you includes singapore having extremely high emigration rates - and it is no wonder with its tyrannical government. Whatever Singapore's ecconomic achievements were done so by the dictator and family's rule of torture, fear, and death. Disgusting and Shameful but no miracle.

  • Comment removed

  • @sandye2100 you know instead of being a complete whining baby here why not you DO something in real life.

  • @fanmbv31 Thank you for your attention to the lack of freedom in Singapore and the human rights violations that the barbaric government continues.

You can count on me help expose this "Nightmare of Asia."

  • @sandye2100 no no, you got me wrong. I am saying - Get a life you internet troll.

  • @fanmbv31 Yes, Yes,Yes--I got you right. And I will continue to comment right here and elsewhere on the internet!

  • @sandye2100 your everywhere lol. lame

  • @sandye2100 hahaha how many more account u gunna make? lmao im glad theres more foreigner coming to singapore and live here. Thanks for that negative comment we appreciate that. LMFAO!

  • @VanNelleish You may imaginie anything you like. I am happy to continue to help expose Singapore for it's human rights violations and warning those that come from free civilized places just what kind of a society it is: Coldblooded and Barbaric. Of course once many come and find out the truth they will leave and never come back.

  • @sandye2100 - haha find out the truth? lmfao!!! ur a dumb cunt all u know is about truth and shit.. imm post this in singapore stomp.. and let everyone one see how dumb u are tryna get us lookin bad lmfao faggot

  • @sandye2100 The Aussies shouted at me CHINK. Oh no. This nightmare of Western countries. I am so glad I live in Singapore. Because the WHITES always think they are the best, and their freedom of rights and their white man guilt makes them think they want to change asia. Instead of singapore, you should go focus your attention on china instead. Because unlike China, we do not have child slave trade, abuse, we do not sensor facebook, and we have opposition parties.

  • why do we need to follow your style of democracy? Whats the benefits? Tell me the benefits and I let you off and will not disturb you any longer. Dont crap with me about freedom of rights and all, because I dont see myself having no freedom of rights except not being able to protest on the streets, which I believe is not a benefit of having a democracy. So tell me whats the difference btw sg's democracy and YOUR democracy. And what benefits it brought to your country.

  • Oh btw, talking about no freedom of rights, i suggest you go youtube and search "workers' party singapore", "opposition party singapore" "general elections 2011". You would be surprised what you have said in your last 10 years of your life doesnt seem to match the vids. No wonder no foreigner is agreeing to what you say now, because you are behind time. :) Oh workers' party is an opposition party in singapore.

  • @sandye2100 At least we are not like america. Willing to scrap the rights of ppl and american free speech policy whatsits. Oh yeah detaining/ assainating other people and american by order of congress (cuz Obama dident veto that bill). Look up that bill look at that first before looking down on us. u know that At least our ISA only detains but NOT execute people without trial

  • @sandye2100 I have got lots of friends overseas. Studying, working. My aunt in US say she feels less free as a human being in US than being in Singapore, because she is an Asian, and she is considered a second-class citizen in US. What do you say about tht? Equal rights? Stop telling people about high emigration rates of singapore. Cos every country has high emigration rates. Check your sources before writing, cos I have sources. And btw, I was tortured when I was in Australia. Verbally.

  • @sandye2100 Maybe you think its your mission and goal to change the world, but hello, NOT EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD SUITS TRUE DEMOCRACY. Look what happen to London. You give them freedom to riot, kill, bully. You call that civilisation. FULL freedom of speech invites barbarism, which is what I am seeing now in london. Maybe the western world thinks that riots, protests, violence on streets, destroying public property is the way to go to attract attention and have freedom.

  • @sandye2100 Well, we arent that stupid and retarded to let such things happen in our country. I can tell you majority of Londoners would rather want street riots and protests banned in the country than to allow freedom of , what you call these violence? Freedom of violence? Yes I always knew Westerners would rather their own people killed than their freedom of speech being robbed away from them. :)

  • @sandye2100 Oh btw, you are really fighting a losing battle. Within the next few decades, many other countries in Asia will be influenced by Singapore's style of democracy. Taiwan and Thailand all plagued by problems of democracy are praising Singapore's peaceful environment and style of rule. China is definitely studying singapore's governance. I am wondering, are you happy seeing people die during riots and protests since they are practising freedom of speech? Maybe you are. Sad.

  • @sandye2100 HAHAHAHA SERIOUSLY ARE YOU REALLY THAT MAD ABOUT SINGAPORE? LMFAO!! man ur a sick sad faggot lmao. Go on hating and tell everyone about us, Singapore is getting more and more visitor coming here to visit n to stay in singapore. I'm not sure about the bullshit your trying you best to tell everyone about this fiction story. like i said keep it up that good negative comment, we're getting more and more and MOREEE people loving singapore and working here HAHAHA ur a PATHETIC CUNT

  • @VanNelleish HELLO,,YOU AREN'T ANGRY are you?? "Sick sad faggot, bullshit, pathetic cunt, dumb cunt, shit, imfao faggot."

Can't you do any better than that?

Singapore has one of the highest emigration rates in the world. So much so that a massive amount of chinese foreigners had to be made instant citizens to replace those that left who will never return.

Once those that can get away from a brutal and barbaric dictatorship, they stay away. Foreigners come, make money, and GET THE HELL OUT

  • Comment removed

  • Hey I mentioned before emigration rates hasnt got anything to do with politics right? Similar to foreigners coming to singapore because of money, Singaporeans go overseas for money, as the grass is always greener on the other side. NO SINGAPOREAN MIGRATE OVERSEAS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO FREEDOM OF RIGHTS. Seriously. Ask any Singaporean overseas. Gosh, i keep seeing your name here and your goal in your life is to sit by your computer and convince the world we are babaric. Pathetic.

  • @sandye2100 Where is the proof?

  • @MrDamning The proof pertaining to what? Specify what you mean--if you can. Do you need proof to convince you about the barbaric Singapore government? if the truth stares into your face would you accept it as such? And stop pointing to other countries to try to justify inhumane crimes committed by corrupt singaporean judges in kangaroo courts that mis-use the rule of law and are nothing more than slaves to their dear leader--better known as the "hitler of Asia" Lee Kuan Yew.

  • @sandye2100 I've just gave a butterfly2020 who has the same screwed mentality as yours a dressing down. To us Singaporeans, we feel free. We don't care what FOREIGNERS say about our country. Whatever information you have and whatever views you have about our country do not represent the majority of Singaporeans. And i shall not allow you to talk bad about Mr Lee Kuan Yew. I respect him for who he is. He turned Singapore into a economic powerhouse with strict but just laws and superb foresight.

  • @hellishtoot Singaporeans are NOT Free, either are N. Koreans, and your stupidity is the same mindset. The barbaric violence that LKy has bestowed upon a population is a crime he will hopefully pay for in this life, but surely will in the next. His followers will not excape their uncivilized cruelty and human rights violations either.

  • @sandye2100 wts... the thing is, WE DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK ON WHAT LKY DOES JUST AS LONG AS WE CAN LEAD GOOD LIVES. SO YOUR RANTING IS USELESS. I suggest you write to the government personally to give them a piece of your mind rather than ranting here on YouTube. kkthxbai

  • @hellishtoot Well apparently you must be concerned because you keep responding to me with your rantings. Thank you for your suggestions, but if you do not like what I say then you don't have to reply to me do you? I do have FREEDOM of speech and I shall exercise it whether you care or you don't. If I want to speak about Singapore's sadistic supreme leader---I will.

  • @sandye2100 you are right. I DO CARE. Not that I want to change your perception of Singapore. But I want you to realise that ranting about all this on YouTube is useless. No government official will take much notice even if it's the PM. So if want your views to be taken seriously, please write to the Government. The YouTube community does not appreciate such rantings. Hence, this is pretty much the last piece of advice I'll give you pertaining to this mater. Thanks for reading this. Good day.

  • @hellishtoot And, I want YOU to realize that speaking out against those that deny freedoms, violate human rights and practice barbaric violence whenever and where ever possibe is never useless. You do not represent the You Tube community, and believe it or not there are those that feel just as I do. The government needs international and internal pressure to either change so it acts in a non-violent humane and civilized manner, or it needs to be abolished.

  • @sandye2100 the government in Singapore IS being abolished. And one thing, I'm anti-PAP ok. But I'm airing my views as a Singaporean who believes that the laws we made are just and hence I'm defending them. If you think otherwise, so be it. And a letter to the government will not be censored. You'll just get a robust reply from our ministers. People have written to the government before. Although I advise you to complement your letter with strong, compelling evidence. Or face utter destruction.

  • @hellishtoot You provided no evidence, and it is foolhardy, to suggest the govenment is being abolished as long as millionaire sub-human LKY lives, and his family and henchmen are in power. LKY's unjust barbaric laws and penaltys carried out by his mob at his whim should be changed and not defended. How can any civilized human being support degrading violent cruelty and the torture of other human beings? You are aware of censorship and persecution of those opposing this regime

  • @hellishtoot Injustice in Singapore is not only evident with discrmination against the gender (male vs female) a double standard exists, thanks again to the monster minister LKY, between white foreigners and anybody else, singaporeans, chinese, malay, indian, etc. Oh once in a while an example is made of them, but I can cite example after example how they are treated differently. The system itself is corrupt with not even an independent judiciary. All bow to to LKY-Nauseating.

  • @sandye2100 one word. WADEVA

  • @hellishtoot And another word,,,,,BARBARIC

  • @sandye2100

well, even what you have spoke about is truth. You still could not find anywhere in the world, like Singapore. where human rights are given to ALL citizens as much as possible. key word, as much as possible.

so what if the USA give every citizen the rights to own a gun, and have the rights to even burn Quran.? they are disregarding other people human rights, one way or the other.

  • @sandye2100

They let citizens own a gun, and some went rampaging on the street and killed many innocent. all these? in the name of human rights, thus disregarding others rights of safety?

Also, they claimed to be a nation of freedom and equality, yet they named foreigners as "Alien", and this had became a norm. the most democratic nation in the world?

  • @sandye2100

Singapore may have a lot of taxes, ERP, etc. Some Singaporeans may have trouble getting on with day to day expenditure. but, in Asia, majority of our citizens are living quite comfortably as compared to other neighbour countries.

    key word,MAJORITY.

in Thailand, children and handicap are forced to street to beg for money, by the bad company. and their police? imcompetent.

in Philippines, corruption are widespread. Education used to be top few in the world. not anymore.

  • @sandye2100

please bear with me, I got a lot of things to say.

Vietnam and Cambodia went into war in the 1970s.

Cambodia and Thailand exchanges artillery fire a number of times the last years.

Because they simply couldn't solve their disputes diplomatically.

Yet, Singapore have been doing quite well in this area, despite being threatened by Malaysia to go to war if we failed to agree with the new terms for water agreement. *although water agreement was signed long ago*

  • @sandye2100

some countries "perfect" their human rights, and economy, by diverting the inhuman acts towards people of other nation.

    and there comes the "democracy".

and I do agree with you that Singapore is never truly democratic too. and Singapore has never claimed to be TRULY democratic. being small, it is very difficult to go against the obstacles in this competitive globalized world.

  • @sandye2100

needless to say, it is impossible to provide ALL Singaporeans with a meal, where everyone enjoy the same fish, vegetable, chicken, or rice.

Some may eat rice from Japan, some from Thailand. some may eat Organic vegetable, some non organic vegetable.

there is no way, to ensure EQUALITY. and I believe affordable is the same too. how much is affordable? giving YOU affordable public transport fare, and next you may complain it is too affordable for the rich. and

  • @sandye2100

the poorer would complain its still NOT affordable.

the ugly truth is, even if YOU are in LKY's position. you could never perfect a system that 5.18million of people have to live in. don't complain that we have too many foreigners.. we know that. but, you had to understand that, its Singaporeans whom do not want to take up those "low class" work.

and this leads to my next point. its vital that not everyone receive the best of the best education system.

  • @sandye2100

because even now, when not everyone receive the best education, many already complained that they do not want to work in the blue collar.

yet, the fact is NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO, not everyone is a COE, same goes to Msia, Japan, Korea, USA, UK.

we complained, but we understand these. and like Hellishtoot. I appreciate what LKY had done for us. and if I really have to be someone one day, I had to work hard myself. for I am not from the elites too, whom received the best.

  • @hellishtoot It is important, particularly because of censorship in Singapore, to use whatever social media is at hand, in this case You Tube,to help communicate with thousands and raise awareness concerning the repressive government of the city-state. With the internet we can continue to help also to expose these singaporean barbarians and protest the cruelty of their actions.

  • im doing an international business project/presentation on Singapore and its use of space (domestic and commercial). This is a great video to get the general feel for the country and how it runs! THANK YOU!!!!

  • Singapore's Disgusting and Barbaric government is no kind of miracle. The deliberate legalized violence where thousands of boys and men are tortured yearly and the barbaric mandatory death penalty is worthy of International Intervention. The leaders and those that commit these human rights crimes should be brought to justice.

  • @sandye2100 Thats what you think. You dont know the true situation because you dont live here. You have been brainwashed by your own media. Now go concern yourselves about the millions of people dying everyday in Africa because of their TRUE BARBARIC government than Singapore which have more millionaires than you can think of and are well-fed. HUH? Thousands of boys and men tortured? I am a singaporean and i know much better than you if me or my friends are being tortured thank you.

  • This is such a well-made video - I almost thought it was a professional piece of work employed by the Singapore government !! Thank you much for sharing.

  • I LOL-ed at 2.00.. HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Thank you for this. Singapore truly is a heaven on Earth.

  • I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Singapore !!!!!

  • OF course its not scripted, if any singaporean was caught talking bad about the PAP, Bad things happen to them. Especially in front of a camera. I myself would sing praises of LKY just to stay under the radar.

  • @shredderbassist

ARE YOU SERIOUS??? PLEEEASE....WE ARE ALLOWED TO SPEAK OUR MIND....

  • @shredderbassist Care to elaborate?

  • lee Kuan Yew wanted to get rich, end of story.

  • @alexcheetah79 Care to elaborate?

  • @1XMarksSpot If you really look deeply into Singapore law, government and society, you realize that everytrhing revolves around productivity and money. It's hard to briefly explain it but if you spend one or 2 months like I did, you will slowly realize it.

  • @alexcheetah79 Thanks for the info. I haven't visited Singapore yet, but the "economic miracle" there intrigued me. But doesn't ever country's law, government, and society revolve around productivity and money? I think China would be a great example of that right now also.

  • @Ericeric00 Care to elaborate?

  • This is what happens if a nation is determine to succeed. Overall, a really good video.

  • ... i think the taxi driver is scripted...

  • @scorpioo I can assure you that none of the film was scripted. We were just lucky to find a really friendly taxi driver who was passionate about his country, and who said some really great things. We filmed a number of taxi drivers, but this was by far the best, in terms of what he said, and also his presence on camera.

  • @jameswiffen u mean u made this video??? awesome! it looks just like one of the NGC vids

  • @jiyefuuu Thanks a lot, glad you liked it!

  • @scorpioo Haha... the taxi driver is an indian... so his english is better den other chinese taxi driver. :)

  • @hawkhawk81 lol its not about his english, its about what he said =X
