The game could be amazing, game of the year, if it wasn't so rushed, the single player was short and recycled, and the FPS of the marine was very basic, and the online servers were pretty bad, if they improved these in a possible sequel, it would truly be amazing.

I love aliens vs predator as a franchise, i bought this game and i love it, but their is still room for improvement. i think that the single player missions could be a little better, their not terrible they actually tell a better story than the AVP movies, but ye they could be improved. Hope theirs a sequal to this game in the future.

ok this game had so much hope but it failed...the single playerlast 6 hours max all races and then the multiplayer is ok but the demo off steam is the best part just get that for your thrill....plus the life cycle of the alien is not correct #6 is the alien name and it randomly turns into a queen at the end THAT IS NO THE LIFE CYCLE....the marine cant crouch and the preditor is fun but the single player you have to kill the preda alien. The preditor was just a host not a hybrid or the two.

AvP movies were based on the Dark Horse comics which came first not the pc games. I hope the other multiplayer modes are more balanced than deathmatch and either better at matchmaking or add a server browser. Single player looks great but I rarely finish single player modes anymore.

It annoys me in the demo when you activate an overly long kill animation from the rear and you can't do anythign until it is completed...leaving you vulnerable to attack from the rear yourself.

i heard a alien trying to stalk me, you can hear them growling by default (its very hard to hear that though, really have to listen). however, i hear a alien shriek from a room above me, have to say its scary as hell

often when you kill a alien yes they do make that scream, their sounds seem to be a mix of their classical screech to a few that sound like a jaguar. its a preety nice mix.

please when you start the demo read what the first black screen lines say..... its a pre-demo (first that they ever made 10months ago...so it still uses only dx9 and older textures...) the full ver like we saw in the clip will contain way higher textures and better game core compared to this demo ^^ if you would search on net you would see interviews of those who played the full version... they say that there is a huge difference between finished ver.. and the demo (textures,sounds,ballance)

The demo is OK but if your a human it just fails too much because you can never see the aliens or predators all you get is a crappy flashlight that does nothing and they get thermal vision and whatever its just not fun being the human in this game hope they balance it out a bit better.

First time I was marine I was kicking ass. They are plenty powerful I think. First time as Alien however I came last but second time I was killing with the best of em. I love the variety the game brings. Should make for excellent multiplayer over time with different modes

Yep it's all about learning how to play each species. I've come top many times in a full 8 player match as marine.Using your scanner and knowing the weapon spawns helps alot.
