That is a escape pod from the Pillar of Autumn from the game named HALO Combat Evolved and I'm not sure if there are more HALO games with them.. As far as I know its only in HALO Combat Evolved.

There is a wire grabber on the bottom of the pod. When I got inside the hangar bay, I activated it via hotkey. You can see it clearly at 1:10.

Tehlulshow: Large ships arent directly controlled by any 1 person, and this goes for real-world sea ships as well. The captain however does control all ship functions via command - effectively making him 'the' pilot, and legitimizing my pod placement. (Actually I'm bullshitting you. I just liked the view.)

well, the "helmsman" would be considered the driver, but your right, the functions arn't all controled by 1 person, anyway, make it flyable! (wasd to go forward back, left right, and SPACE and CTRL for altitude, and V for third/first person)
