  • i`ve seen this 1930 movie a long time agao! It was supposed to take place in 1982, I wish 1982 really looked like this!!!!

  • marjorie white died the day my mother was born aug 21 1935 , she was wonderful so was frank albertson

  • Great song... one of my favorites by Billy "Uke" Carpenter - Never Swat A Fly - 1930.

  • The guy looks like a cross between Jude Law and Dick Van Dyke. lol. :)

  • His voice sounds like David Sedaris.....

  • Continued...

the last two movies of Frank Albertson were small but pivotal parts.

1 "Psycho"...He was the rich cattleman buying the house for his "Little Girl" in the first part of the movie.

2 "Touch of Evil" The older business man that is blown up in his car w/his girlfriend at the beginning of the movie.

I really liked Marjorie in the movie "Happy Days" The band is Abe Lyman's who also covered this song for Brunswick,w/the exact arraangement as we hear here.

  • Frank is actually my great grandpa! He died before I was born :(

But his wife grace (my great grandma) is still alive, and hilarious!

  • to continue, (hit the wrong key...Drat!)

Frank's last two movies that I remember were

    1/o

  • The man Singing is Frank Albertson, Jack Albertson's brother (Chico and the Man)

Frank's last two major movies were small parts,

    1/

  • Frank Albertson was so frigging cute.

  • Isn't she just sterling? She had me in "Women Haters" co-starring the Three Stooges. (See it on Youtube)

Tragically, Marjorie White died in an auto accident in 1935 in Santa Monica.

She would have been one of the pillars of Hollywood, had she gone on with her sizzling career.

  • Wonderful pair! I love the song.

  • Lovely song. I have a version of this song sung by Layton & Johnstone.

  • This is brilliant. What a lovely, happy song!

  • fine band

  • Wish I could see the whole film somewhere. This was a fun sequence(thank you,) and all the other bits I've seen are engaging as well.

  • ...and there's anything wrong with "Camp and Corny" ??

  • wonderful hams -- love it

  • Film, Just Imagine

  • Where is this from?

  • This is from the movie "Just Imagine" a funny movie predicting life 50 years in the future a/k/a 1980. As usual, the flying cars in New York City. Maureen O'Sullivan is also in it.

  • This is so camp and corny,

    but fun to watch,

    Thanks for uploading

  • Nice. The late Doc Cheatham did this number as part of his reperotory into the 1990s.
