Chael Sonnen's suspension was based on what he "said" to the Athletic Commission in a hearing.

Some of what Mr Sonnen said in that hearing regarding his conversation with Keith Kizer appeared to be a fabrication.

So it makes sense that the commission reviews the inaccuracies in his account of events and punish him accordingly if necessary.

IMO he's been treated fairly by the commission so far.

Sonnen's suspension was shorter than it should have been b/c of the his Pinocchio "storytelling".
