I enjoyed your video. I do think we overlook the simple things that help us enjoy life. Some of mine: My fav yellow coffee cup..I love this cup.......my yellow trinket jar with the orange lid...so cheerful....my stool that I carry all over the place for climbing on and sitting on...I love this little stool.......my fav flip flops....pink polka dotted.......:)

1. I love pens too. They're so much better than pencils. And I love writing down my thoughts and reading other people's thoughts. I think that's one of the reasons why I want to get my bachelor's in Commnucations:)

Gum is a fine stress reliever, and (supposedly) it helps you to concentrate.

Pen and paper is better than chisel and stone for sure. I routinely browse the selection of pens in the store. Maybe you have more pens than you need, like me.

I prefer digital planners but there's something to be said for an in-your-hands book. Pen to paper reinforces a "commitment" to your plan and strengthens the will to do it.

Digital MP3 players can't "touch" vinyl record covers and their liner notes.  Peace.

I totally get excited about everyday things like that too! Like the other day, I freaked out at the coolness of trees. I mean you see them all the time, but have you ever thought about the fact that they are like crazy old and they change colors and they give us tons of oxygen and they are homes for all kinds of animals...Woah...like they're pretty much awesome. :D
