    Thank you.

  • @ElJefedeJefes9 I have no clue, But thank you!

  • Love this video tony! I make hardboiled eggs perfectly with this, and somehow i forget some of the details. I probably watch this vid once every 2 weeks.

  • Am I supposed to store them with the ice water in the fridge? Or at some point to I drain the water?

  • @Tit0Matic Just remove them from the water after a few min, and put them in the fridge.

    Thanks man

  • Ill probably somehow burn the house down by doing this.

  • @ Tony - Ok, I've followed this to a T. So how come some eggs peel beautifully and others look like a pocked marked teenager? HELP!

  • They came out perfect! and i learned how to peel them :p. and once again thanks for the walkthrough.

  • Thanks for the video and i was wondering how you peel them.

  • Thanks tony, just like a couple other guys said, I needed this video because i have basically no cooking experience whatsoever, but i'm out living on my own and need to learn. The tutorial was perfect and I didn't feel like i was lost at any point. Some people may laugh because this is supposed to be "easy," but to someone that never touches a stove top, it's a daunting task.

  • Great video!! Keep them coming

  • Tony D,

I appreciate these videos. I'm a 20 year old and have limited cooking experience. Im kinda odd though as Ive made chocolate mascarpone crepes but never hard boiled an egg haha. Anyway I just wanted to say thanks. Ill think of this video every time Im up late boiling eggs for breakfast the next day. Tryin to gain weight is no small affair, and this just makes it easier. Great job on the vid. Thanks again.

  • youre awesome bro

  • What if you had coils on your stove.

  • how do you make beef jerky.

  • Thanks for the video, I thought I knew it but wanted to make sure:)

  • I'm a real man. I eat eggs, boiled eggs.

  • haha he looks like the moyle from seinfeld

  • lol 2:25 he lights the wrong burner.

    ROFLCOPTER HAHAHAHAHHA

  • I like what your accomplishing here, it's nice to see someone helping the everyday guy with basic, easy to make recipes. Some guys get out on there own, and can't feed themselves without a take-out menu.

  • I drop 2 eggs in cold water, boil it for 3 mins. Then turn off heat and cover for 8 mins. Then done. Easy.

  • Salt just lowers the boiling temperature of water.

  • @adsut10 elevates, not lowers

  • Wow you really taught me!

  • Egg whites for the win :)

  • I mark my eggs with a marker on the shell so i know which ones are boiled and which ones aren't. :)

  • i am a business woman 48 and just learning how to cook thank you.

    Ruthie Appleby

  • Thank you Thank you Thank you

  • Cut this up and put it on some bread with some paprica and you're golden

  • Thank you so much!

This make a great after school snack!

  • Excellent, thank you for this video. I did everything wrong my first attempt. I took the egg from the refrigerator and dropped it into the boiling water. Then i let it sit there for 6 minutes when i removed it. While the egg tasted and looked good it was apparently the wrong way to do it! Will this this way later today.

  • Love the video man. very helpful and thorough

  • Man, this helped me a lot! Thank you! I'm about to make hard boiled eggs for the first time, so I consider you my cooking master. XD Hopefully they'll turn out well.

  • Kool

  • Your a life saver.... I'm a young college man who would not have hard boiled eggs today with out you, lol Thank You!

  • @jupiterscastle 5 at a time is my maximum, but after that I don't recommend going to work.

  • @jupiterscastle So you dont have to fuck around with it for a week.

    Corkey

  • thank you :)

    keep up the good work...

  • man ive cooked my first ever thing ty!

  • thanks

  • hey man, you're a cool guy. i haven't searched your videos but my girlfriend HATES my cooking. i want to turn her around on that though because i can't stand how she cooks(she takes WAY to long. 12 pancakes in 1 hour and 30 minutes). it's kinda our thing. any ways do you have a dish you would recommend? i was thinking chicken Alfrado. let me know what you think. thanks

  • It's funny how you turned on the wrong burner. I do that every time. Awesome video. Deviled eggs?

  • @anthonydangelo sorry I thought you were this one cop, sorry.

  • Wow. awesome, thank you.

  • It had been so long since I boiled eggs I forgot how to do it properly. Your method is the best. I'd never turned the heat off once it reached a boil before. They came out perfect. Thanks.

  • Thanks so much for this! I've been having a very hard time peeling my eggs after I boil them. I will try your suggestion of 1 teas. of salt.

  • on my way to make some eggs

  • Worked great! Just made a large container of 18 HB eggs using your instructions for an electric burner stove. Perfection. Peeling three of them worked perfect as well.

My eggs used to result in green coated yolks and I never understood why that was happening. It was all in the technique.

    Thanks a bunch.

  • right on tony ronnie f

  • Great video, seems straight forward, very well done-- I'm trying your method now. The only thing that disappointed me a little was there weren't any tips on how to peel one effectively.

  • @nomad10101 Ok, well, I tried it and ate them -- all 4 eggs. Worked perfectly. I used eggs I bought/left from a week ago, per other guide's suggestions, to make them easier to peel, along with the pinch of salt you suggested. I cracked 360 degrees along the circumference like I saw elsewhere -- don't know if that helps any more than making one or two cracks -- and the shells slipped right off by the membrane, like a blanket. Anyway thanks again ...

  • this is great! I did it the way you said instead of the 15 mins that I was taught. also the ice water gave me the perfect yellow........thanks

  • Just made some eggs! TY!!

  • This is perfect. I followed this and it worked flawlessly. The eggs yolks were solid and a gorgeous light yellow color. Did I mention "teh yums"?

  • thanks alot im just 12 and my dad and mam are gonna be so proud of me!!

  • @dmanno3 why?

  • Great stuff, thanks T!

  • Tabasco sauce is delicious on boiled eggs. Try it.

  • thanks 4 the advice !!!really good!!!

  • Tabasco might be the best food flavoring ever! Lol. Just DON'T eat it on Kit-Kats or Whip Cream.

  • Thanks tony. Was just wondering if you had a vid for deviled eggs yet, if not thanks for this video anyways. :D

  • thank u for sharing.

  • thank you so much i watched about five terrible or unclear videos before i found this one.

  • Did you just boil them for a few seconds? Because as soon as the water began to boil you put it off the heat.

  • Once the water begins to boil you remove the eggs from the burner and let them set for the 10-15 because the water is hot enough to finish cooking them.

  • When I cooked my eggs this way for my husband he said there was no way they were cooked. They came out perfect! The water remains extremely hot and cooks them perfectly without over doing it. Love your name by the way. :p

  • thank you , now i know how to boil eggs lol

  • Thanks, now I wont fuckin starve every morning when the folks aren't home

  • man o man now i want some deviled eggs lol.

  • Thanks

  • This looks great, but doesn't address the issue of really fresh from the chicken eggs. They can be incredibly hard to peel when hard boiled. Any further suggestions?

  • Its recommended that you wait a day or two after a store purchase before hard boiling them. So if they are fresh you may want to give it a little more time.

  • look up how to peel hard boil eggs with out peeling

  • Hi Tony..im trying your boiled egg recipe for the first time...doin exactly what you said xcept...i didnt have any white vinegar as u suggested...so I put in a few drops of Itilian dressing that did contain that ingredient. They are soaking in ice water right now. with the confidence in which u display this vid...i know this will be good. No bachelor wants to spend a lot of time only to achieve green yolks. Ill let ya know how it works out Mr Tony.

  • "wow" The world of hard boiled eggs is just amazing. where have they been my whole life?

  • thanks tony! :)

  • you are the best chef on youtube and my idol

  • ahh love it,, and jusssst release it in to the ice water hahaha SWeet* hahah baltimore?

  • Sounds like somebody's from Baltimore : ) Great video buddy!

  • you guys are all dumb

  • u saved my day...thanks.

  • that was FAST..haha

  • amazing how many people dont know how to boil an egg...

    im one of them :(

the time is what gets me...i made a soft boiled egg once....threw up

  • there are slight variations to making a hard boiled egg...

some let the water boil first and then put the eggs in....some dont cover the pot...etc

  • Thanks so much!

  • Can you do another video please?

I've been trying to make toast but it never seems to come out right..

  • i can't even tell if ur being serious or not.

  • great vid im not gonna hate, good vid. but to be honest i already knew how to make hard boiled eggs i was just watching because i was bored and it was pretty entertaining, and i started making my hard boiled eggs right before i watched this
