Thanks for sharing. The OV-1 is a fascinating Aircraft. There's 3 (I think two now, actually) Sitting at Anoka County Airport. I seem to be the oddman out in that I think they're an attractive aircraft. Such unique craft make aviation history interesting. I think it might be a bit boring if It were all about P-51's and F-15's. One day, I hope to own a Warbird to preserve and share history with others. The Mohawk is definitely high up on the list.

Hey Sgt. Bloom...Great video. There are 5 TO's from the 245th in '69 that have stayed in touch. Three of us (Bill Knight, James Bottumly and I, Gary Geramanis) were in the IR Platoon (Sgt. Worchester) but the other two were in your platoon, Paul Koonce and George Effertz. I vividly remember you overseeing Koonce and I on sh%t burning detail....not my best day in country.

Nice Video. I flew Mohawks after Vietnam. I had two tours in Viet Nam one in Hueys and the next in RU8s in Phu Bai.

Thanks for posting this great video! It is really nice to hear you speaking, explaining. I believe you may have flown with my dad..Mark Dugan Lawrence. He was over at that time. I know his best friend, Mark Babson was killed over there during a mission. He flew into a mountain, he must have been without another plane flying with him. My dad heard his last call. We had his gun from the wreckage, I remember that my whole life as part of dad's "Vietnam experience". Thanks!

My Uncle flew OV-1s and worked as a camera/film operator in the Army Sepcial forces during the vietnam conflict
