  • ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT FLORIDA WAS NEUTRAL DURING THE CIVIL WAR

  • anyone who has anything bad to say about Lee does not know our history or what kind of man Lee was.racism is crap but Lee was not.

  • Celebrating a two-faced liar like Lee is hilarious.

  • Lincoln said that he wanted to remove as many blacks as possible once the war was over. He believed that colored people shouldnt and couldnt coexsist with the white people.

  • lol. these are the most ignorant people.

  • ...Thank god the black people didn't take his day away on MLK day.

  • I like the music of yesteryear ++good music.

Weird message to my ears today though.

  • robert e lee is the best man there is and i respect and honor him for the things he have for the south done and if you dont give same thing why are you watching this for.

  • Rally the Virginians!

  • Wach out! A wannabe 14 year old gangsta' is on the warpath, I'll tell you what, I will watch you try to take that leak so get your mama to drive your wannabe ass to his grave and try it. Then I'll watch some young southern girl bitchslap your ass back to New York.

  • um yeah dude i was like knida kidding duh

  • You better look at the black people as to the ones who are racists... and don't push that jesse jackson shit over here... Thomas jefferson supported state rights over a big government... so take your big government/business elsewhere... also did you know Robert E. Lee didn't or believe in slavery.

  • You better look at the black people as to the ones who are racists... what like slavery, kkk, massacre of millions of slaves, torture, killing of babies, bombing people, raping thousands if not millions of women. The point is General Lee was an honourable man would be disgusted by a lot of these racist idiots

  • uncleluck don't try and pull that bullshit. Your just contradicting the truth. Being proud of what a majority of the south did really doesnt meen that your proud of your country at all. Being a part of the confederacey meant secession from the union.

  • The North is the one of the two, that reneged on the pact of the Union. They were hellbent on the centralization of the government. The two economies were structured differently. If the true cause was slavery, the Emancipation Proclamation would have come immediately at the inception of the war. Like Lincoln said in his letter to the editor of the New York Tribune: "My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery."

  • shit, i missed this event...didnt know about it, but i do now. i wouldve made the drive from northeast georgia.

  • happy birthday robert e lee

  • folks, continue to research this topic if you are really interested in finding out the truth, i'm not pro or against any ideology but it was a revelation to me when i found out that the central florida "cracker" counties voted against secession .;.complicated issues are not for the folksy, only for the scholastic researcher

  • it was the other way around.

  • Lets kick some Yankee ass before long. Pick a date and drop me a pm !!!!

    Deo Vindice

  • The great General is my distant cousin. Check out the video that I did in tribute to him!

  • with all due respect, i do repects robert e. lee. but this fuss has been created by a bunch of racists. get over the fact that the south lost for god`s sake. slavery is out of date and there is a concept called centralism (one government is way better than several ones). it saddens em to know that there r still dickheads who glorify a racist and old-fashioned society. long live the red ,white and blue, long live uncle sam.

  • You really show how ignorant you are when you write comments like that. Don't you see, it's not about slavery, or racism. It's about being proud of who we are and our heritage.

  • lol, you mean as ignorant as those southerners longing for another "crapfederacy"?

  • God bless Lee and God bless the South. Happy birthday Robert E. Lee!!!

  • Excuse me, but MLKJ Day is one of OUR holidays.

  • No way, they fall on the same day?. No wonder modern day Liberals adopted thay day to honor Martin Luther King. By the way if the idea was to put down the pro States Rights (Slavery's status included) Confederacy they were wrong, General Lee was always for Abolition of Slavery and drafting Black Confederate troops before anyone else in the Confederacy.

  • Hey, I never said Robert E. Lee was a bad guy.

  • It might be one of YOUR holidays but my calendar doesn't have any room for a Communist revolutionary, whoremonger who lied and cheated his way through school.

  • That's no way to speak about our President! And you call yourself a southerner?

  • I do believe it was the north who has put a commie in office..Check with your Vermont brothers on that one..

Good to see that you have discovered Abe was not honest afterall..but really though you should not talk about him like that

  • happy birthday General Robert E. Lee happy 200th birthday MAY THE SOUTH RISE AGAIN!!!

  • "wolfencrow" does not realize just how the majority of the worlds people hate the US. If the South decides to leave, the financial and military resources of this majority will be brought against the US. The South will only have to get out of the way. Go back under your rock, "eatencrow" you make the rest of us sick!!!

  • YEEEEHAAAAAW. That fat old bitch ran like a whore out of church, after the beating we her at Gettysburg.

Damn right, I'm gonna be celebrating the liberation of my home state, from bushwacking CSA scum.

  • Wolfencrow talks about whores but the only whore he knows is his sister who has two little niglets. Ain't that right, Wolfencrow?

  • Charming. Attacking someone's children. Fits right in

with the breed. Nice shot in the dark, though.

  • Robert E. Lee was my Great Grandfather and I have to say, I have read almost all of his lecturs and letters and he would be deeply disturbed to find out that there were still people that cannot look past their differences. Lee's birthday should be celebrated in both a Union and Conferderate way, not, however in a racist, commi and ultimately liberal way. If Lee's birthday were celebrated together and in a way universely than he would be more easily excepted in the normal community view.

  • If you want some real information on the League of the South in Florida visit:

  • Pure ignorance of history on your part. 65,000 black Confederate soldiers fought for their country. In fact they got paid the same as the white Confederate soldiers and were issued uniforms and food, when the north paid their black soldiers less, and charged them for their uniforms and food.

  • 65,000 huh? That's almost 6 Divisions of Black troops. Where are their names on any kind of roster? Shouldn't be too hard to find. I can't find 65,000 of them listed in Broadfoot's encyclopedia of Confederate Troops and Broadfoot ought to know. 65,000? The modern, Reconstructed, egalitarian, multiculturalist Southerners keep adding zeroes to that number every year. Before you know it there will have been a million Black troops fighting for the South with no more proof than the 65,000.

  • Very nice.

    Regards, Norway.

  • Where was this shot? Deo Vindice!

  • West Palm Beach, FL - About an hour and a half north of Miami.

  • Why does it say the League of the South hosted it? I don't see any banners or writing on the chalk/message board that mentions the League of the South. And what do you, Theodoricr, have to do with the League of the South?

  • It was held at John Dee's tavern in west palm. I don't think the League of the South "Hosted" it but they were there. I know because I was there aswell and we all had a blast.

  • the south shall rise again

  • Southern Independence! One day....

  • Bravo!

  • they both had more class than some of the morons that have led since then

  • Jan. 19 was the General's Birthday. Thank you for remembering.

Gen. Jonathan Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson was Jan. 21.

I think America misses the caliber of these great men.
