I love it. My grandfather was from Ponty. His father (Thomas Parry) was from Ponty and his mother (Elizabeth Bond) was from Treforest. Best we can tell (it was the late 1800s when they immigrated to the US) they lived on Wood Road. I'd love to see more video of Ponty. When my kids get a little older I hope my wife and I can make the trip. It's a dream of mine to play and sing there. Thanks for this video.

Good idea to try and revive Ponty, but as well as the Old bridge, and the Rocking stones and The Round houses of Dr William Price, what about the fact that the Welsh National anthem was also written in Pontypridd, the history of the Brown Lenox chain works renowned throughout the steel industry, and if you dig deeper there are so many things that Pontypridd has done for local and likely national history..................but keep going we need people like you to bring back our home town.
