  • where i can get the full movie ?? i hope there is someone who wants to upload it :(

  • @cint29 search Noriko no shokutaku on stagevu or let me watch this,it doesnt come up if you put the english title,it has subtitles though :)

  • This isn't a horror film. It's a psychological thriller. I myself watched this movie before watching Jisatsu Sākuru and it made sense.. but I will warn you this movie is very emotional and you'll most likely break down somewhere along the line but all in all it's an outstanding piece of work and it's probably one of the most fucked up movies of all time.

  • I agree, but this is NOT a horror film.

  • I'll probably watch it.. Got Chopin on the trailer, 54 hot Japanese girls, deals with suicide.. perfect!

  • i love the song.

  • classic

  • so many good films coming from Asia, love the plot, eat your heart out hollywood !

  • @Arakl10 really. we seem to ruin these great movies when we remake them. hopefully noone remakes suicide club or this one....

  • Asian horror certainly is the best, but I'll be frankly honest by saying that Jisatsu Sakuru and this one just didn't hook me. I kept watching, but it was quite honestly exhausting me. I just thought that there could have been so much more than just philosophical conversation/voice overs.

Sono may have given us some shocking scenes, but honestly...it just bored me. Symbolism, Philosophy, & Themes are great...but the story just need more unexpected thrill to it.

  • @shadowpal2

Sono Shion is definitely someone whose work is completely original which I greatly admire him for, but the story of Suicide Club and Noriko's Dinner Table just didn't attract me or let me keep watching. One of his works which was incredibly long (4 hours approx.) known as Ai no Mukidashi is truly an INCREDIBLE masterpiece.

Following the theme of cults/identity/purpose of life/family, Love Exposure just has a really captivating story. That I have to say is Sono's best work so far.

  • i really wanted to like this film... but i didn't, character development were shallow, uninteresting, it almost feels as if the director is trying too hard to make this film "off beat"... very disappointing.

  • @eknick

have to agree with you! the characters just felt very one-dimensional. I mean sure the characters had that sudden "awakening" at the end of the film, but it really didn't capture the transition. But considering the somewhat complex story with the whole: BEING BRAINWASHED & RUNNING AWAY from reality by acting as someone...I guess the characters just became lost.

  • It's a beautiful and touching movie but don't expect any of your questions to be answered because (*spoiler alert*) they won't

  • What's the name of the theme song?

    So intoxicating....

  • i love suicide club....and this is a much better film.

    watch it.

  • this is based on Japanese manga. all i remember was the scene student jumping in front of subway

  • @kkims007 the manga was based on suicide circle which connected with this film. there's also a novel from sion sono's which try to clear the plot holes of these two films.

  • what's the song at 0:45 ??

    thanks !

  • @yungsoo It's the theme song.

  • @yungsoo It's the theme song.

  • What a disappointing trailer, I wanted to watch it before I saw this video... now I'm not so sure. (I saw jisatsu sakuru... I thought it was decent enough I guess)

  • to tell you the truth this is true to life there in japan. most suicide deaths are students. especially school girls.

  • Yuka !!! That's my friend's name, she's half Japanese and half Korean .

  • When I first watched the movie, I was expecting another horror movie from Sono-san... I was very, very wrong, but in the best way possible.

What I got was one of the most intriguing introspective narratives I've ever watched. Somehow, I hadn't even released it was connected to Sono's "Suicide Circle" film (which I had seen prior), and I was even more intrigued when I realized this was both a prequel, sequel, and side story, all packed into one.

    I absolutely loved this movie.

  • i love this movie so much!WHY'D THEY HAVE TO TAKE IT OFF YOUTUBE!?

  • Fascinating, subtle, wonderful, not for idiots.

  • How many of you would like to see a sequel to this, taking on Yuka's story this time??? It would be great i think...!

  • @JuanilloR9 I've heard that Sono Shion wants to make a 3rd film, and that he's been planning it as a trilogy ever since "Suicide Circle"...

  • @purefault i will look forward to his new masterpiece...

  • @purefault

That would be "Love Exposure". Last time I checked (Dec. 2010) the entire 4 hours of it was on youtube

  • @TheYzarci I meant a third film as another sequel/side-story to the Suicide Circle storyline.

Love Exposure's one of my favorite movies ;)

  • To me, I wasnt really scared... but this made me cry because of what happened to her family D=

  • Is this movie is the same as Suicide Cirlcle the weird movie?????? or diffirent?????

  • @kyla1ful also weird :-))

  • @kyla1ful its a sequel for suicide circle.. tells a story of 1 of the victims that died during the train incident..(i think)

  • @shezzy56 Wow. I've never heard that theory/reading of the movie. Please explain this further, which of the main characters from NDT are you talking about? I know one of the family rental group does jump with the girls from SC, but she wasn't a main character was she? I am just really interested in why you think the movie is _about_ that non-main character (in my memory). Now I have to go re-watch NDT for the umpteenth time... Come visit one of the sites from SC and explain there maybe.

  • @angelchinky than the people in their present lives. Noriko is just one of many people who feel that way...unfulfilled, lost, searching for herself through others. When she feels alienated in her routine home, she breaks free when she leaves for tokyo to find UenoStation. The story goes on like that forever, and every bit and word of it is entirely significant. I think reasding IMBD or wikipedia may help to fully grasp it, but watching the movie a couple of times may also do the trick :)

  • @angelchinky I can't merely spew out a definitive meaning of th eentire movie in a couple of posts. There are several major themes planted within this wondrous film.

However, I can probably manage to conjure up a somewhat objective answer if you have a specific question. Basicaly though, this movie projects the uneasy feelings that teenagers have around such close family members, but feel they redeem theirselves by creating a new identity online, meeting peopel they can relate to more so

  • This movie gave me so many different emotions.

    It was amazing.

  • I enjoyed sucide club but i thought this film was more of a famiy drama. definately no where near as good as the prequel & most definately not a horror film. some people loved it so its kinda like marmite as i thought it was somewhat slow to say the least & considerably crap. in fact i want 1hr & 55 minutes of my life back.

  • 1st suicide club now this im lovin the continuation.

    (spellcheck)

  • This is one of the best movies ever made! It's one of those movies you will think about for a long time after you watched it. Watch Suicide Club first though, even if that's another movie genre, so you get some of the background story.

  • This looks cool, Gotta watch it :D

  • This movie changed my life. I had to fill out a college brag sheet, anf they asked us to elaborate on a movie or book that has changed our life and why. I listed Noriko's Dinner Table. It is not forgettable. It will change your life. Watch it please.

  • What makes this movie great is the way it uses psychological fear rather than overly grotesque scenes which in my opinion makes it better and scarier.

  • @nesboy31:

Also It's just a horror film, it makes you think how cruel

reality can be and how scary it is...also in suicide club

makes you think how fragile a life can be.

  • im going to watch this because i just watched suicide club last night and this is the third time i watched it and i still dont get it or anything about that "connection" thing someone plz explain this to me

  • American horror films are too graphics enhanced and *scientific* lol

Asian horror films got that cultural mystique element and are low budget, that's all it takes to make a good "scared to take a piss at night" film. hahaha

  • i think this is not a horror film. this is more of a disturbing mystery film.. Hard to understand though because Japanese have different culture

  • What's the song in the background?

  • okay, suicide club was about this kids who would ask the question would people stop loving you if you die. i think that was it. well thats all the did, those girls just figured out the code in the poster, called the number, and the little boy asked. the skin is showing the asked. the girl at the end didnt die cause she said she knows who she is. now this i havent seen, so i dunno what this is about.

  • i use to think that the Dessert girls were brainwashing ppl to commit suicide. :/ but hopefully this movie will make more sense...

  • somebody know what's the name song of theme aperture on guitar? sounds like Fernando Sor.

  • Me too, i also don't get it

  • Okay, I know this is a pain, but I found out about the original 'Suicide Club' Film about two years ago, and I watched this too, and i still don't get it.

What were their 'roles' ? I still dont understand any of it, could someone please explain? I'd be truly greatful. Thank you. =)

  • change the way I think...

I realize we all lie to each other, otherwise how can we make it through each days?!

  • is this like an expansion to "suicide club"'s storyline except this one has a main charactor?

  • Yeah!!! Yay for the unfitting music xDDD

It makes it 10 times as scary!! XD

  • korean films are starting to be kick ass.

  • Suicide Club is one of my favorite movie, I will watch this sequel soon.. hope it is good.

  • Thats pretty interesting. i havent seen suicide club yet, and i have nto yet seen this either. but could someone explain to me the story line for both movies?

  • @4SHURelsa

i havent seen this yet, but the basic storyline for Suicide club is a load of kids...well...make a suicide club and another guy tries to find out why...XD

  • I don't get the purpose of this movie.

  • Best movie I've ever seen. I got a tangerine tattooed on my leg because of it.

  • i think i understand the plot even less now lol

  • I love<3

  • what i like about Japanese movies is that they are so disturbing and scary unlike the others...

  • I love this movie. The Suicide Club movie sucked though... but man this one is infinitely better!

  • sorry i wrote sub i ment club

  • i suggest you see this movie it explains suicide slub if you didnt understand it and its actually a good movie i have seen it but the thing is that dont expect any gore

  • Is this worth watching? is it a good movie?

  • @Ritsukei

Yes! Compared to "Suicide Club", "Noriko's Dinner Table" however hardly has any gore but the film doesn't need it. It's so much scarier since the realistic acting makes you feel like THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING!

    Go watch it!

  • I finally watched this one and finished it just now. Even tho this and Suicide Club is kind of disturbing. (But I loved them because I LOVE weird things like this) I find them to actually have a powerful message within the movies.

  • Original and very, very disturbing. A master-piece.

  • Yeah the Norikos story is complete! But it will be a third but not with Norikos story it is complete, but the Suicide club will be answer for a third movie ^^

  • whats the song in the trailer? i cant find it anywhere!

  • does it have english subtitles

  • This is not a horror movie. Don't be stupid and give it a chance. The movie's brilliant.

  • wrong asian horror are the best, better than americans , no offense

  • @MultiLovinglife hollywood horror is... well bad, azn horror is more disturbing than scary imo

  • @MultiLovinglife Your opinion but the irony is hilarious

  • @MultiLovinglife No offense taken, you're completely right. Asian horrors are more complex, especially Japanese horrors .

  • @MultiLovinglife Oh, I agree and I'm American. I LOVE Asian horror

  • can anyone tell me how to find the music from this movie?

  • can anyone tell me the name of the music start from 0:42

  • ...

  • WHAAAT? .w.

  • BRILLIANT .

one of my most favorite film ever .

  • aewsome show. this and suicide circle put together just makes the whole thing better. now just waiting for the 3rd one to explain so so so many questions that are still left unanswered

  • There's not going to be a third film like it was suppose to be originally. Sion Sono have said that he feels that Noriko's story is complete, so many questions will be left unanswered unfortunately.

  • This is my favorite movie of all time. Suicide Club was very good but Noriko's Dinner Table is absolutely brilliant. For those of you who didn't understand Suicide Club/Noriko's Dinner Table, I suggest searching the internet for explanations. It's much easier to appreciate this movie when you understand the plot and the themes. Great music, great ending, etc.

  • i so totally got suicide circle, the message is really good. but i love this movie, norikos dinner table almost made me cry at the end......... loved it really good

  • Comment removed

  • Suicide Club is about your connection to yourself. Supposedly NDT is about your connection to other people. I haven't seen NDT, but I want to!

  • I just watched SUICIDE CLUB and it was really confusing. I wonder who leaves the bag with human skin. I wanna see Noriko's dinner table even though people say it doesn't make the things clearer.

  • Yeah, I just watched it now and the Suicide Club made no sense to me, but this movie should be worth watching and I heard there going to make a third one.

  • suicide club is about how ur "connected" to urself like do you know who you are and ur purpose in life if u dont then i guess you commit suicide in the movie idk thats what i understood

  • Not a commercial movie, this is for people think that cinema is before all an esperience. Great movie, and the music...

  • I am into asian horror movies movies, but I like best psychological and thriller than gore. In spite of that I saw SOMEONE BEHIND YOU and I liked it. Now that everybody says that SUICIDE CLUB is excellent I already downloaded it, but I haven´t watched it yet, so I am downloading this one too, I hope they both are good as people said.

  • this movie wasnt a scary movie it way only okay it was 3 hours long! kinda boring alot at times

  • I loooved the ending for this movie. What a tweest!

Glad I have it on DVD<3

  • LUCKY

    i cant find it anywhere

and i dont like to download movies xD

  • This movie is AWESOME. Very subtle and dark without being another lame horror film

  • is it better than suicide club? lol i hope so

  • I LOVED this movie..soo entertaining..good acting..the girl who played Yuka was soooo cute!!

  • this movie is so good. it's amazing. i want more movie like this.. Suicide club wasn't as good as this.

  • god dam it i want to see it sooo bad!!

  • At least their blood isn't orange in this movie. :)

  • why do i feel like this is going to explain NONE of the questions i had back in Suicide Club?

  • You are right! haha i find this movie a little lame because it doesnt explain nothing so confuse and bored but well..

  • Well I liked what i could understand from the plot, but yeah it explained close to nothing

  • if you want an explanation go to

    sparkplugged._net/2006/02/suicide-circle-anyone/

it explained most of the movie to me all but the nurse seen

  • thanks that did kinda help

    ^.^

  • not sure if anyone said this but this is not a prequel. its its own movie. it was happening durring and after the suicide club timeline . apparently the director was thinking of making a sequel since the ending leaves unfinished really with full of holes. imo theirs a higher power to the kids in suicide club

  • I love this movie so much!

  • Wait.. so .. guys, is this on DVD yet? cuz i'm sure i've missed the theater showings. And anyone know when the third sequel comes out?

  • Naka Riisa has some HUGE tits in 81 Diver!

  • Mistuko and Noriko are really common names...

They were in Battle Royale too...

    ^.^

    yay

  • I just finished watching this, and I thought it would explain more of Suicide Club..

Now I'm confused about them both.

Oh well, they're both still wonderful.

  • This flick was no good.

  • i agree it was just avg

  • noriko is the name of the main female char in battle royal 1........

  • I think this one is going to be cool as the "Suicide Club" But Noriko is the Bat right? :3

  • Noriko's Dinner Table is way better then Suicide Circle.

More drama then horror but has kickass plot and acting!

  • dose any one know when the third movie will come out?

  • love to see a remake of this

  • why would you? remakes are horrible.

  • this film was weird, i respect it, i really liked suicide club and this was totally different from that style, can't say its better but it was cool, a lil confusing too

  • so noriko is The Bat?

  • i think so, too.

  • i thought so too but after watching the movie realised i was completely wrong.

  • i dunno why I love this movie so much. just the way all of the elements went together (plot, themes, characters, soundtrack, etc.) made it almost perfect.

  • jus wondered if theres any special meaning behind but guess i jus have to draw my own conclusion lol

  • Actually after watching strange circus, suicide club and noriko dinner's table, u will notice the name mitsuko and taeko being used repeatedly. I guess its what the director wanted as some sort of link between his movies.

  • whats with the name mitsuko? it keeps popping up.. even in the suicide club

  • Mitsuko is a common girls name in Japan.

  • but it appears as the first name of a main character in suicide club ,Noriko's dinner table and for a completely different significant character in the manga isn't that a bit of a coincidence i thought maybe it was deliberate?

  • I don't know. I have never read the manga. It could be deliberate or it could be a coincidence. As I said before. Mitsuko is a common girls name. I think Mitsuko's (Noriko) role has nothing to do with any of the events in the first movie. She isn't part of the train scene or involved w/ the kids. She never breaks away from Ueno who could have something to do w/ the kids as she is the leader of the club. However, she deals w/ family connections and not personal connections.

  • Please tell me you're not serious. Mitsuko and Noriko are common first names. That would be like saying any movie with the names Mary and Jennifer would be ripping off any other movie made with those names.

  • ....and i just took a bath... :(

  • Ha, all of you are wrong it actually happens before during and after suicide club... if any of you had both of the actual dvds you would know that instead of making stupid assumptions...

  • i need to see this. i own jisatsu sakuru. great fild :D

  • great, thanks for uploading the trailer, someone can upload the movie?

  • can naybody please tell me what was the website they go to in the movie? i went there before but i forgot the URL thanks

  • hey man, its really your loss not to appreciate this fascinating film...

  • i don't get it. is this the same movie as the suicide club?

  • this one is more like a sequel/prequel to suicide club, to me its even better, sion sono knows how to mess up your mind.

  • oh okay, thanks :) i saw suicide club and i really liked it so i guess i'll see this one too.

  • where i can watch it?

    thanks

  • que bueno aparece el bafici entre los "festivales grosos"

  • is there anywhere to watch this online??

  • seen suicide club

now i have to find this

  • uhm, is tht girl like the source behind all the suicides?

cuz i dont like this xD

like 54 school girls jump infront of a train, i was shocked like h*ll=(

  • sequel bitchhh

  • Fuck You CJ

  • is this a sequel or prequel to suicide club?but so far this is very nice

  • Suicide`s Club sequel.

  • It looks like a prequel.

  • its a sequel but there are some small parts that flick to befor suicide club, its a brill film i highly reccomend it allond with suicide manual

  • you guys are all wrong. it's a prequel! well, i guess blindprophet was right.
