Die C-5M Super Galaxy von Lockheed hat eine maximal Zuladung von ca 122,5t und die AN225 hat eine maximal Zuladung innen von 250t und ausen darf sie noch mal 90t anbringen.
Größe in den Abmessungen ist sie auch nicht. DIe Flügenspannweite beträgt bei der C5 67,88 m und bei der AN225 88,40 m.
Das maximal Startgewicht beträgt bei der C5 381t und bei der AN225 ca 600t.

Und nun kommt mir nicht und sagt, die Russen können nichts, das ist eine Meisterleistung. Man bedenke nur mal, welche Mühe die Konstruktion und Erbauung dieses Giganten der Lüfte gekostet hat, wie viel Geld investiert wurde und dann schwebt dieser Herkules der Lüfte sanft wie ein Vögelchen am Himmel entlang, Hut ab vor all den Konstrukteuren, Hut ab vor all den Erbauern, Hut ab vor den Piloten und Wartungstechnikern meinerseits
