City People, before you accuse this farmer, have a think about where your rice, wine, oranges and many other foodstuffs come from. I am ashamed of how our government constantly avoids mentioning the implications for towns in farming regions like the MIA. If these towns are affected because of this MDBA plan going ahead, you can say goodbye to Australian produce and say hello to imported produce. See all sides of the story before you accuse. Griffith Leaders never said we "didn't care about the river" but all the so-called "science" was taken after 7 years of drought... & they don't have a plan on "watering the environment" either! HAVE A LOOK AT THE RIVER SYSTEM NOW, farmers didn't get water during the drought! - How about you get your facts right before you BITE the hands that FEED you!
