dont file it. stick a peice of skate grip to your finger then just scrape the rip to the way you want it. and it looks precut after everything is done.

no its canadian maple, the same used in REAL skateboards, there called berlinwoods because there made in germany, its not like short woods are small decks, but im sure homewoods are made in someones house ^^
