You can set it somewhere in the settings (main menu). I don't know more details now since I'm out of reach of my computer with Phoenix installed right now.
ive used a flight simulation(not rc im interested in both) and lost a wing. boy that f-14 still flew like a beauty! it just proves that the small and large can have common ground

go to system, program setup, physics and then at the bottom left crash/breakage handling and then choose no-auto restart!!
