that happend to me exept his glove was stuck to his arm and body he had no feet no name/number on the back was wearing a mets jersy and a umpiers hat (i was the brewers) and in the field he had no glove or feet and the catcher had no gear

ive had this happen like 10 times, i loved this game until my franchise mode "broke", all it would do is let me select my franchise, go to schedule and push play game and the ps3 would reset itself and go back to the main menu, If you have had this happen please tell me, its bullshit! this really pissed me off because i was 100 games into a season, i might just go back to playing MVP baseball 05, it doesnt glitch

I always wear my glove and catcher's gear up to bat. That way you can catch the ball and tell the pitcher to quit bitchin' when you toss it back.

(Oh by the way, if you want to surprise the other team in a game, charge the shortstop instead of the mound)
