Seeking help should be the periphery and not the center for people attempting to eleviate themselves from the abyss. Education, hard work, self-improvement, personal strive are the hallmarks of successful people. People ought to take responsibility, from bottom up, rather than wait for someone to miraculously appear and solve their problems for them. Convey that message to their posterity. Emulate others who have gone through similar hardships and make the effort. Wishing won't solve problems.
That was great question, why should the somali people in Minn vote for you, Al franken? He obviously did not answer the question except that he said "we need to give him (Obama) enough senators in the Wait House"!!. I don't know what Obama gonna do for the Somali people. In fact, both Norm Coleman and Al franken are Jewish and share common philosophy but I'll be voting for democrats this year because they will do differ kind of foreign policies and domestic affairs.
