its the film though its the last one.

They may look alike because they were both created by the same people. The man who created them is brillent.

However, although the man may not have designed the films his work still reminds amy people of appleseed.

appleseed is much more modern than Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed uses CG with a layer over the images to make them appear hand drawn, Ghost in the Shell however, IS hand drawn, with only a few scenes which use CGI
