As a preteen I used to hate Jim reeves because (And I thought these were his songs) through our player, phrases like "Lead me on, were heard 'Lead me home' and I it used to depress me. What an amazing and embarrassing feeling it is to discover these songs again, in stereo no less. :)

I am 35 and I remember my mom laying me down for my naps on hot summer days and playing this record. The only thing missing is the sound of the needle on the record. The memories are still vivid in my mind though. Great comforting music!
