While I ultimately think that you make a point, I contend your 'inescapable and unwanted association' with 'I don't do that' and counter it with the fact that if we follow some of your statements to their logical conclusions, we end up with a very bleak and fatalistic view of all human endeavor, don't we? @culturevulture123 If anyone can explain why E.Europeans either have to be maniacs, thieves, amoral loons or murders and talk like they've escaped from James Bond or a Hammer Horror film in -any- film, let alone horror films, please enlighten me. Also if anyone can explain how an accent = evil sounding (Jeesus, it's such a stupid thing to say. It's like saying every German character sounds like a Nazi... for fuck's sake!)... pretty good acting for the kid roles in this film, though.

@0ManBitesZombie0 That accent sounding "evil" is yet another ridiculous film trope unfortunately deeply entrenched in our culture. Just like high-pitched, nasal or California accented voices being "vapid", capital-morning-chaps Pre-War British being "snob" and thick Australian accents being "stupid hick"; the menacing Eastern European has been exploited so often to be "evil", that it's still the inescapable and unwanted association our brain makes. Now, do I still sound stupid?
