No mention of El salvador who took a Republican government to the world court on charges (Amongst others) of genocide & WON. Reagan chose not to recognise the authority of the court, so that's ok then!
@origionalwinja Exactly. And why should they? What gives them the right to judge? Who in the US voted them authority? And genocide means killing EVERY single member of a race and/or culture. When did that happen in El Salvador?
Or could it be, as some of us suspect, that there is no way the US is ever going to get a fair trial at the "world court" because the organisation is packed with the enemies of the US who are looking for any opportunity to do America down.
try wikipedia, israel and nuclear weapons -they've never admitted it, first para.
UN inspections matter because they have to explain their actions on the world stage.
what does Iran want to end?
I was referring to the sad fact that you might fight to the death.
I intend to -not by something as retarded as preaching, but by education and promoting secular principles, atheism follows in time, but so long as they stop acting crazy then I'll have succeeded.
You disgrace the Whittle name. My father Bill Whittle who was a fairly uneducated working man, who left school at the age of 14. made far more sense than you do in all your videos. The reason 9/11 happened was the USA's uneven hand in middle eastern politics. Obama is trying to get America back on a better footing with the rest of the world.
@karozans Anybody that's convinced by this drivel is beyond my help. President Obama is not all good and not all bad. He's not a dangerous radical. He's not even that unusual. He's just the guy that got elected. At the beginning of 2013, or perhaps in four years, somebody else will be president. Life will go on. American exceptionalism is for idealogues and non-thinkers.
You're a lying bastard with not one bit of proof of your absurd accusations. It's things like this that have ruined the USA. Either prove it, or admit that you're a pathological liar.
@PhuqueUTube3 I don't know if you're wrote to Bill or another comment. But Bill gave you the source of his so called "accusations" at least twice in the video: Hanson's book.
@Kaugee Let's see, one book, not peer reviewed and no verifiable references. That's proof? Only if you reject logic and facts in favor of unsubstantiated beliefs to support you delusions.
These people would get more respect if they were honest and just said, "We're outraged that a goddamned n***er is president."
@karozans In one post you say it's all drivel. Then you say he's presented ,ore evidence than I have. One thing we seem to agree on is BHO isn't all good or all bad. In the end, he's just another politician. At least he isn't a nut case like so many others and spout the drivel you so accurately point out. I still say the video presents no real evidence and agree it is drivel.
Umm. What are you smoking. I never once said that what Bill Whittle was saying is drivel. You are confusing me for someone else. I think Bill is incredibly intelligent and is dead on in all of his videos.
I believe that Obama is a nut case just like so many others.
Bill has used data to present his case, you haven't.
@karozans You're right about me confusing you with drummva. About everything else, you're wrong. Obama is not a nut case like the religious reich morons running for the Republiturd nomination. Of for that matter like you.
BHO is just another politician and has done so little he might be the hand-picked successor to "W".
@karozans That's your opinion. If we put up every video of any president doing something silly either before, during, ot after his term, there wouldn't be room for anything else. There would have to be a special site just for the Bush boys.
I am far from a left wing anything. You are an arrogant idiot so fuck off, asshole.
Opinion??? Nah. I have good reasons to think that.
"If we put up every video of any president doing something silly either before, during, ot after his term, there wouldn't be room for anything else."
I agree. I never said that other presidents were angels did I?
What do you think I love Bush???
I am a Libertarian little boy. I don't like Bush.
Call yourself what you want but all I see is a Left-wing loon.
Hello - I'm British - I prefer the democrats because they seem less determined to start world war 3.
also - 44 pages - there is such a thing as oversimplifying, that smacks of propaganda, as does the video.
Israel must be laughing their ass off at the US - they are receiving active, unconditional support for what is the worlds last piece of un-fettered colonialism. it is truly bizarre that american politics can be so warped.
It's got a lot to do with it. You sit here an bust America's chops when Iran is clearly the one who wants to kick off WW3.
America isn't going to sit idly by and let it happen. Don't you Brits learn anything from history? Neville Chamberlain tried to appease Hitler and that is what you are doing now with Iran.
You might have won WW1 without America but you didn't.
@karozans Iran lets inspectors from the UN Investigate their nuclear program - more than Israel does btw. Imagine if china invaded canada and mexico and maintained naval fleets along the east coast, all the while enforcing trade embargos, how would america respond? and which side would be the one in the right?
yes we would have won anyway - america wasn't a serious player in WW1
@karozans Israel has NEVER admitted to having nuclear weapons, and do not allow inspections to confirm either way, so much for responsibility. I stand corrected tho - Iran lets inspectors into the country, but not to a few sites.
fair enough - american commitment was good once it joined the effort in 1917.
Iran is not insane for wanting the end of foreign supported colonialism in the middle east, again - imagine if china supported a muslim state colonising Canada, how would america react?
@karozans the Israel situation is almost impossibly difficult but you would think that american military aid could at least be conditional (on ceasing colonialist action for instance - that would help).
NO ONE EVER IN THE HISTORY OF WARFARE HAS STARTED A WAR 'FOR KICKS' you are deluded if you think this is why Iran is aggressive.
"Israel has NEVER admitted to having nuclear weapons"
Yet everyone on the planet knows they have them. Hmm. That's odd. Either they do admit that they have them or your a lying. I am thinking you are lying and you have no evidence to back up what you said.
You seem to be stuck on this UN inspection of nukes as if it even matters.
You seem so trusting of Iran. I think you should get on a plane and fly there and tell them how peaceful and loving they are. I am sure they will show you a wonderful time.
"NO ONE EVER IN THE HISTORY OF WARFARE HAS STARTED A WAR 'FOR KICKS'"
Really??? So why did Germany invade Poland? Was Poland trying to colonize Germany?
Also I seem to remember the Liberal Left saying that Bush started the Iraq war "just for fun".
"I promise you I will fight idiots like you and every other religious crazy and plain blustering ignorant until my dying breath.
and I will have lived a better life than ANY religious demagogue."
Bring it on little girl. Considering that only 2% of the worlds population are atheist zealots like yourself, I'd say you have your work cut out for you.
Is living your life on YT considered a "better life"?
@karozans just to clarify though - I think i was right that america won the cold war - the USSR was evil, not because it was socialist, because it was run by bad people.
From the many paintings, illustrations and descriptions over various periods, I have always seen the French in blue uniforms, this was definitely the case during and leading up to the Napoleonic period, I have never seen them in white. I'm assuming they may have used these white uniforms pre-1600 or so? Not to detract from the historical context of the turncoat definition, just curious.
Dr Hanson is so intelligent that not only did he vote for George Bush twice but he admitted to the fact whilst claiming to be a democrat!
Dr Hanson also describes Donald Rumsfeld as a, "proud and honest-speaking visionary" whose "hard work and insight are bringing us ever closer to victory".
This is a the man who Bill Whittle said we should pay attention to his wise words.
@SongBirdJesusFreak Because one of those nations is shooting missiles at the other. Seriously? You've got to be kidding me. The last ones who tried that were England and France in the Ohio valley. Look how that turned out.
Also, you think you have the right to put missiles near Russia's borders? How about Russia puts missiles in Cuba, I'm sure you'd be OK with that..oh wait...
@iseeyounow1 Public school and an Ivy league University. Mummy and Daddy sent you off to boarding school, huh? Prep school kids at Harvard were easily the stupidest. Spent their prep school days getting drunk and high, but no worries, Mummy and Daddy's money will buy your way in.
@iseeyounow1 you went to private school didnt you. elitist fucktard. youre probably just another rich faggot with no concept of the real world. why dont you go play polo or something. bitch.
@westedinburgh America "may" be with us but according to bill, Obama is selling us down the river....ratting us out to the russians. What kind of dangerous game is he playing?, Obama out 2012. P.S. I'm in west lothian.
@wardydave when bill clinton was in office Israel offered them everything they ask for.. the low life fathead turned them down... the Pals dont want peace they never have - never in history have they wanted peace. every Arba nation has also attacked them when they have lived within there boarders. this is common knowledge unless you went to public school... or you just dont want to see it
@otsocbayr1 HAHAHAHAHAHA - yes Bush was well known to respect the sovereignty of other countries. He even said himself said he was not concerned with getting Bin Laden. You're defending someone who disagrees with you.
@travismays Really? Obama pulled that trigger? I didnt realize Obama had personally assassinated Osama! Also I dont understand where you come to this conclusion that Bush didn't much care? Oh by the way Im quite sure Ive read somewhere that Obama took something like 16 hours to make that decision after it being told that Osama had been hanging out there for a few months.... Yea thats some ambition right there.
@LongHornsDB31 Yeah, as commander in chief, Obama put thought into giving the order to act on circumstantial evidence to raid the compound Osama bin laden was in. Just like, as commander in chief, Bush put no thought into acting on incredibly unreliable heresay to invade Iraq, which killed hundred of thousands of innocent men, women, and children. The marines took two days and several months of training before they went in, you gonna blame them too?
@travismays Bush's statement was regarding the media's pressure toward him as to why Bin Laden hadnt been captured or killed yet (at that time). Much has been made of his statement, and taken out of context. Bush also had stated that Bin Laden was NOT the only threat to the US and each would be dealt with, when and where possible.
@THEORIGINALEXSCAPER Here's a number of better responses: "We're working on it. It's our number one priority. We won't stop until we get him." You think there was a bigger threat at the time than the man who killed 3,000 Americans? At best he's a liar. At worst, he's a turncoat.
@travismays You forget Bush was portrayed as a "cowboy" in the media. And NOT in a flattering way. Comments by him (regarding Bin laden) and Bushs preference that Bin Laden be killed versus democrats (sticking to the old Clinton era) idea that we should capture him and "bring him to justice" (trial), was met with general scoffing by libs.Till Bin Laden hadnt been caught in an amount of time satsfactory to dems and libs in the press. There WASNT ANYTHING Bush could have said to satisfy them.EVER.
@THEORIGINALEXSCAPER What liberal scoffed at the idea of killing Bin Laden? There was plenty he could have said. And there was plenty he could have done to get him too. But he chose not to do it. Any of it. And now since a democratic president actually made the effort and got him, the republicans want to take credit. It's disgraceful.
@travismays Are you actually saying that NO ONE (liberals) has objected to Obama authorizing Bin Laden be killed, instead of being captured? Really. If Bin Laden could have been eliminated so easily, why did it take almost 3 years into the Obama presidency for it to happen? Without the chaos of the Afghan battlefield. Anyone can write a book about how Bush should have done this, or said that. As Bill states, it took Obama 16 hours to OK the mission. Bush 15 min in a school on 9/11. Hypocracy!
@THEORIGINALEXSCAPER What I'm saying, is that you made the claim that liberals didn't want Bin Laden killed, so YOU should back it up with evidence. And from what I understand, no one knew where UBL was when Obama entered office...and it wasn't until a little over 2 years into his administration that they had information enough to act on. Why you're comparing Bush sitting around doing nothing for 15 min to Obama making a complicated military decision from circumstantial evidence, I'm not sure...
@travismays What I provided was a part of a Huffington Post article which showed the "uncomfortableness" the Obama admin, and libs had when it was revealed that Bin Laden was unarmed when he was killed. That story received a LOT of coverage. Shouting for revenge for 9/11 is great for people on the left.Till the realization that it actually involves killing someone. It wasnt a complicated decision when his military advisors let him know they knew where he was. It took Obama 16 HRS on SOLID intel!
@THEORIGINALEXSCAPER You provided that? Where? And where did you you get that they had solid intel? And how do you know that it made the administration uncomfortable? Is it the same way you knew GB wanted to get bin laden despite saying otherwise? I want to see.
@travismays The article was in the Huffington Post titled "Osama Bin Laden Dead: Was Killing The Al Qaeda Leader Legal?" by
Mark Hanrahan
First Posted: 5/6/11 Updated: 7/6/11
First reports were that Bin Laden was armed and shot it out with US forces. However it was revealed that he was unarmed and the Obama admin was uncomfortable with what was described by critics as an assasination. It included the ABC report. And thats the last homework I do for you.
@travismays ABC News reports that the Obama administration has justified the operation legally by citing the Authorization to Use Military Force Act of Sept. 18, 2001, which allows the president to use "all necessary and appropriate force" against persons who authorized, planned or committed the 9/11 attacks, as well as international law derived from treaties and customary laws of war. -
The authorization was enacted by the Bush administration.
@THEORIGINALEXSCAPER no, they hold up a law that Bush signed (and really any president would have) making it legal to use all necessary an appropriate force to get bin laden. But it was the Obama administration who actually DID use all the necessary and appropriate force to get him. Don't twist it.
We may have had a rough history prior to WW1 but understand I will always have a certain love and respect for the nation that bore us into this world and I will always be thankfull for our current friendship and remember just because we have an ass in office does not mean we are all like him.
God bless England and god bless America may we always stand by each other no matter what happens.
I could really care less about Israel, no idea why so many people here do. They can survive on their own, they do not need our money, nor should we give them any.
Obama was out of line for getting entangled in Israel's affairs. You, however are a Christian Zionist, i.e. one who defends the corrupt modern state of Israel and supports the neo-con mantra of endless war for Israel.
Whittle amazes me how he can so simply and intelligently wrap up all what is wrong with progressive liberalism! Palestine is not even a state of a people in the truest sense of the words. The refugees in Palestine are the Arabs that believe the Arab League would wipe Israel off the map. At Nasser's behest they left their homes waiting for the Jews destruction. The Jews kick ass and the Palestinians are now refugees to this day cause their own brothers (Jordan,Syria) won't accept them as citizens
What a right wing douchebag Whittle is really, Just another chicken hawk acting like he is a cross between Patton & Bismarck. This total douchebag seems to forget that even Bush advocated a similar solution in Israel. If anyone is a turncoat, it is this smug arsehole.
@DawnOfTheDead991 When did Bush make that suggest and what was the suggestion???? Just because you may have read Bush "might" have made a similar suggestion from People Magazine, Star magazine or the NYT doesn't make it true. Provide some data. Just because Joy Behar said it definitely doesn't make it true. Cause we all know she (Behar) is your source of world news and understanding
@Westedinburgh thank you for your understanding. I hope your fellow Britons understand that president Obama is a gross abberation and not indicative of how the majority of Americans feel toward your country.
@RobertKaydoo We understand Obama is not America. We all elect bad leaders, Britain knows that, but it is the people we judge a country by. People are jelous of America, for your can do attitude.
@5000Semmy Wow. What a great argument. Tell you what. You look up some facts and use them in an argument and maybe people will start taking you seriously.
@DawnOfTheDead991 Really. Give us some facts or historical point that prove Whittle is wrong. Just because you have the right to sit home with you Cheetos stained fingers collecting unemployment while watching Entertainment Tonight for your quotes to be used on YouTube doesn't mean your intelligent. If you going to rag on the guy at least provide some reason. Calling him an "arsehead" is not empirical evidence of his stupidity or ignorance.
Has Obama abandoned Israel? Is Israel in any danger of being invaded? NO! We just gave them a bunch of new bombs. The real Jew & Israel haters say Obama is a tool of the Zionists, but in your ugly little Savage Nation world, Obama is Hitler. Not only am I employed, but I am a heck of a lot smarter than some pathetic neocon douchebag like you Whittle or the rest of the scum at PJ Media (not that that is anything to brag about) You don't rule over squat, ignorant arsehead.
You are as unintelligent as you are rude. All presidents have backed a two state solution. As well as our support of Israel, even under Obama, is a detriment to diplomacy and standing in the world. On a diplomatic world level, what does our support for Israel do for the US in a positive way? What does the US get out of it in return? You obvious confuse talk radio, FOX, & Whiittle's scumbag PJ Media outfit for the rest of the world
@DawnOfTheDead991 I never said we shouldn't have two state solution. My point is that Israel has a right to defend their lands and borders in any way they see fit. Especially when the entire Arab world has sworn a blood oath to bring about Israel's destruction. Barry stuck his foot in the shit and tried to force Israel to give up lands they need to keep their people safe! He's historically and politically ignorant to the facts of Palestine and Israel's history!
@IruleOverProgressive He never forced Israel to do that. As well as the real Jew & Israel haters consider Obama to be a tool of the Zionist too. But what the heck, Eventually there has to be some sort of compromise. Jordan isn't going to move their army into the West Bank to attack Israel as well as the Palis there have a negligible army.
@MichaelPolios Has Israel called for extermination of Iran? Oh wait I'm sorry that wasn't what they said.... has Israel called to wipe another nation off the map?????
Truth is Israel probably has nukes but they haven't nuked anyone yet so I'm not too concerned. Iran doesn't even recognize Israel's right to exist, if they don't recognize their right to exist how can they be trusted with a nuclear weapon? Is North Korea better now that they have a nuke or their neighbors? It's the same concept.
@StupidCommentsMademe President Ahmadinejad of Iran never said he wanted to wipe Israel off the map, you like many other people have taken what he said way of context. What he really said was that "Our dear Imam said that the occupying regime must be wiped off the map". When he says the occupying regime he is referring to the Israel illegal occupation of foreign territory for 80 years. And many people, not just Ahmadinejad are against zionism, christopher hitchens for example.
@MichaelPolios Taking it out of context?.... So the regime which is it's own country and culture should be wiped off the map.... Alright we will have to agree to disagree there but let me address the "illegal occupation of foreign territory for 80 years" statement.
How exactly is their occupation illegal? Warning I like history.
I sympathize with you on no more extremist Zionist but most Zionist are not extremist and both sides are guilty of many terrible things but compromise is necessary.
@StupidCommentsMademe The Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory has made a mockery of international law and human rights. The Israel occupation is illegal under UNSC Resolution 242, where it calls for "Withdrawal of Israel armed forces from territories occupied in the recent conflict" (1967 Six Day War). International law also prohibits the transfer of occupiers subjects to occupation zone, clearly Israel defies these laws even now.
@MichaelPolios Well if you want to get technical Israel seized the Palestinian territory from Jordan (an aggressor) in the 6 days war and later signed a treaty, as for the Golan Heights technically Israel is still at war with Syria, as for the Sinai that was returned to Egypt after Egypt agreed to recognized Israel's right to exist in the treaty after the Yon Kippur war. Recently Israel granted independence to Gaza and Hamas took over then began launching rockets into Israel.
@MichaelPolios How can you expect a country that is surrounded by neighbors that hate it before it even existed? What about the proposal the Israel offered to the Palestinians offering back nearly all of Palestine with the exception of Jerusalem (Their Holiest City) on the conditions that Palestine recognize Israel's right to exist, condemn terrorism, and as a demilitarized zone. I am not positive on the last two (can't remember for sure off the top of my head) I'll check later I am in a rush?
@MichaelPolios Even if I were to believe you in what supposedly Ahmadinejad meant... you're time is completely off. The nation of Israel has only been around since 1957 when the British gave the land to them. Prior to that it was Palestine controlled. Israel took it as a gift and other lands that they now occupy since 1957 were results of other countries attacking them. As they pushed their enemies back they held their ground and kept the land, I can't blame them for that.
@theCTCamp Let's just correct those dates and some facts shall we?
The land was never 100% Palestinian controlled. British did NOT give the land to the Jewish people... and certainly not in 1957.
The British surrendered their mandate over Palestine in 1947, averring to the UN partition plan. The surrounding Arab states, already attacking the Jewish people, then totally rejected the UN plan and 5 of them invaded. Israel won.
In 1967 Israel pre-empted Arab aggression & won The 6 Day War.
You can see how this bullshit is brainwashing Americans. Its all image trickery and taking things out of context. The average American knows very little about whats happening in their name and what this means for humanity. Why is all the media in the US controlled by right wing extremists? Step by step America is losing credibility and respect around the World because Americans allow to be ruled and dictated by these dangerous freaks
@westedinburgh I would like to thank Britain for being patient these 4 years of the Turncoat president. I'm confident that in November of this year, we'll throw the failure president out of office, and he can go back to community organizing and hating America, which he is so good at doing.
BRILLIANT!! Vote that Hack out!! Restore the the our friendship with Our Allies Great Britain, Poland, Israel, Australia, Taiwan, Canada, And many other nations that I can't think of right now. We as a country are strong but we need friends too, if we hope to survive the aggression that is communism, socialism, and islamo-nazism.
Here's the thing. Its as if you think the rest of the world is as aggressive as the US. In fact, it seems like you're saying that the rest of the world is more confrontational than the US. The reality couldn't be further from the truth. The rest of the world sees the US as nothing short of blood thirsty, ready to turn anything into a fight. They don't want the US to go to war with Iran or the russians, or anyone else.
Thank you for cracking open the door to the smoked filled back room that is Obama's lair. It is time to overcome the "flinch" response and remind people that Lenin in 1918 and Hitler in 1933-34, secretly, behind those closed doors, did what Obama is doing to consolidate power by placing people like Leon Panetta into very important jobs. If there is secession of some states or rebellion, or takeover by Obama, the military has been renedered impotent to stop it. Thanks and all the best. ~pHil

The Arab League's stated intention upon the eve of their invasion of Palestine in May 1948 was to secure a 'single democratic Palestinian state'. Yet armies that invaded were notoriously divided in their objectives and loyalties. Eg: Jordan's army, arguably the best-trained and best-equipped, fought only so they could acquire territory for Jordan - hence the "West" bank! So much for Arab unity!
Having lost so many wars, they now seek to distort the truths of history. Some fall for these lies.
@Thejadjadjad Thanks. Sadly, the 'lie-swallower' camp is growing; with most people these days seeing Israel as an aggressor, occupier and thief of "Palestine". There are even those who are fool enough to deny the existence of Davidic/Solomonic Israel. Worse still, are those who assert modern European Jewry are really just Khazars! Obama's treatment of Netanyahu does nothing to reverse these anti-Israel attitudes.
As incumbents seeking re-election rarely lose I guess Obama will win 2012. :-(
i put the palestinians into the same group as La Raza. twist history to make yourself a victim, because everyone knows, liberal vaginas ALWAYS side w/ the victims. PEROID.
cut all aid to terroist nations (turkey, iran, jordan, syria, ejypt), & support israel when they are forced to defend their sovernty again.
Conquering Arab Muslims suppressed Christianity under the Ummayids - reducing Christians to "dhimmi" status; burdening them with crushing taxation and 2nd class citizenship, if that. Christian uprisings were brutally crushed. Later Abassids, Caliphs & so on actively destroyed existing churches & prohibited building new ones. Increasingly vicious & brutally imposed laws & punishments saw the steady degradation & ruin of Christian Egypt. It's all in the history books & Muslims proudly declare it.
And.. oh I'm just getting started, "The Tokkin"... and other pricks like you...
You think the Palestinians are so virtuous & noble? How DARE you defend the friggin' assholes who call themselves Fatah and Hamas? How convenient of you to forget their dirty little civil war in Gaza back in 2008 when they shot the shit out of each other - AFTER Israel had left! How convenient to forget the hundreds of millions of donor dollars and euros Arafat and his cronies squirreled away! Fucking wake up!
And just to hammer home the point for any other person who thinks Israel "stole" so-called 'Palestinian' land....
Where was your outrage when Egypt annexed Gaza in 1948 and Jordan took over and then annexed Judea and Samaria in 1950? Wanna know why it's called the "West Bank"..? A name from when Jordan ruled it. No outrage back then, oh no. Not for 20 years.
It seems it's only when JEWS dare to claim their ancient land back that suddenly a bunch of screaming morons get upset. Hypocrites!
"taken in wars resulting from israeli aggression".
Nasser in 1967 evicted UN peacekeepers, massed troops on Israel's south-west border, aligned with Syria (and others) and declared "Basically, our aim is to exterminate Israel!"
You want to tell me how this is ISRAELI aggression? You moron! This is clearly Egyptian / Arabic aggression. They brought the 6 Day War upon themselves. And how did Israel respond after winning it - not to mention the Yom Kippur war...?
US foreign policy in the Middle East is complex, and I don't have the space in this forum to discuss it. However, it is our tax dollars that are paying for the rockets and bullets and the helicopters that are killing Palestinian civilians. Our Government's position, regardless of the administration, has mirrored the position of the Israeli government. I have sympathy for the people of Israel, but I also have sympathy for the people of Palestine.
@TheTokkin Sorry, mate, but putting it frankly - could you be more fucked? What do you think the return of the Sinai to Egypt was all about? Check your goddam history! Or how about the fact that Israel made a complete and total withdrawal and removal of every single Jew in Gaza? And what did Israel get for this? The election by the Palestinians in that region of the terrorist group Hamas & an ongoing bleeding wound where Hamas continuously fires rockets into Israel!
@Countrygent100 Sinai was Egyptian territory to begin with, taken in wars resulting from israeli aggression. The removal of settlers from Gaza was a propaganda gesture: they were moved from one occupied area to another. This after decades of destruction of agriculture, pollution, uprooting of trees, and other atrocities in Gaza. Israel has made no concessions: it is only stealing more and more Palestinian land every day. These are not concessions that Israel has given, they're mouldy crumbs.
@TheTokkin "taken in wars resulting from israeli aggression". Nasser in 1967 evicted UN peacekeepers, massed troops on Israel's south-west border, aligned with Syria (and others) and declared "Basically, our aim is to exterminate Israel!"
How is this ISRAELI aggression? You moron! This is clearly Egyptian / Arabic aggression. They brought the 6 Day War upon themselves. And how did Israel respond after winning it - not to mention the Yom Kippur war...?
@Countrygent Nassers actions did not amount to aggression in the backdrop of Israeli provocations. And secondly, he was acting on false intelligence from the Soviets which said that Israel was preparing to attack Syria, Egypt's weaker ally. Nas. tried to get an advantage over Israel in order to stop such intentions.
1948 was pure zionist aggression: larger zionist armies invaded Arab lands: Arabs responded with what amounted to police action with roughly 20.000 men. Yom k. is more complicated.
@TheTokkin you are out of your mind. The Zionists declared independence as part of the UN's plan for a divided Israel. The Arabs didn't like that, so the armies of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt all attacked at once. The Israeli soldiers fought back better and took more than the UN sanctioned plan said, but it was self defense. it was similar in 1967 when we were attacked and then reclaimed Jerusalem in the counterattack. By your logic, America should give back it's land to natives
@TheTokkin You clearly don't have the slightest regard whatsoever for the United Nations resolutions - except when they favour the Palestinians. In 1947 a United Nations Resolution partitioned the region into two states: one Jewish, the other Arab/Palestinian. The Jews of the region accepted the Partition Plan - the Arabs rejected it; believing that a war THEY STARTED would exterminate the Jews - "Drive them into the sea!" (there's 'ethnic cleansing' for you!). The Palestinians, like you, lost!
Nonsense. By the time Arabs began organizing resistence, the Zionists militias had started ethnic cleansing; burning villages and displacing populations. The Arab attack was a police action with roughly 20.000 soldiers: hardly a force suited for the ethnic cleansing of the Jews living there. The zionists, contrary to popular believe, outnumbered and outperformed the Arab defenders.
@TheTokkin And as regards "Palestinian land", what gives you the insane idea that there ever was an independent sovereign state called Palestine? How about 1946 as a random date? You know, when the land was ruled by Britain?
Name one ruler of that 'united' Palestine (btw, Arafat was NEVER a ruler of a united Palestine!) name its form of government; its unique language & capital; what was its flag; did it have a seat on the UN or the League of Nations...?
@Countrygent100 Just because the Ottoman and British Empires ruled over Palestine with force, it doesn't that Palestinians didn't exist. Palestinian Arabs were the majority in Palestine: they had lived there for more than a thousand years. Ottoman and British Empires were violent institutions who had seized these lands by force: they had no moral right to decide who lives there or doesn't. The decision to form israel should have belonged to the Palestinian arabs who owned the land.
@TheTokkin This is fun. I love using your words against you. Everyone's watching, by the way. You say "...seized these lands by force: they had no moral right to decide who lives there or doesn't...." On these grounds, by what right did the Muslims seize the land by force from the CHRISTIANS c.636-640 AD? By what right did the Romans seize the land by force from the Jews in 64 BC & then after in 70 AD and 135 AD? The same "right" as the Jews who regained their land in 1947! You lose!
@Countrygent You use 1400 year old events from an ancient bygone era to justify actions today? With such logic, you can justify any atrocity. But it isn't unusual for otherwise smart people to discard all elementary values to defend Israel's clearly reprehensible actions. Besides that, the Muslim conquest of eastern Rome was an imperial venture, not ethnic cleansing of the kind that Israel practices today. Christians continued as a majority in the middle east for 200 years into muslim rule.
@TheTokkin "Not ethnic cleaninsg"..?!?! Seriously, WHAT 'history' book are you using? The modern day Egyptians' genetic heritage is overwhelmingly ARAB! - as is the case with the Libyans, Tunisians &etc. Eg: The Copts (the direct descendents of ancient Egyptians) are NOT genetically Arab. This clearly suggests that the ARAB conquests of the region went hand-in-glove with extermination of the indigenous NON-ARABIC peoples. In other words YES, Arab conquest DID mean ethnic cleansing.
@Countrygent100 Most semitic peoples originated from the Arabian peninsula, (Babylonians, Canaanites, judeans) even including most of the pre-Islamic Egypt. The fact that there's a great deal of Arab genetic imprint in Egypt does not mean ethnic cleansing. Nor is there any archaeological or historical evidence for this: churches were continued to be built and expanded for three centuries into Muslim rule. Islam was, at first, primarily a cult of the Arab elite (who had a lot of children).

@LongHornsDB31 also I know Bush was not concerned with getting Bin Laden because he said so himself. Type it into youtube, you'll see.
travismays 2 weeks ago
@travismays Bush's statement was regarding the media's pressure toward him as to why Bin Laden hadnt been captured or killed yet (at that time). Much has been made of his statement, and taken out of context. Bush also had stated that Bin Laden was NOT the only threat to the US and each would be dealt with, when and where possible.
THEORIGINALEXSCAPER 2 weeks ago
@THEORIGINALEXSCAPER Here's a number of better responses: "We're working on it. It's our number one priority. We won't stop until we get him." You think there was a bigger threat at the time than the man who killed 3,000 Americans? At best he's a liar. At worst, he's a turncoat.
travismays 2 weeks ago
@travismays You forget Bush was portrayed as a "cowboy" in the media. And NOT in a flattering way. Comments by him (regarding Bin laden) and Bushs preference that Bin Laden be killed versus democrats (sticking to the old Clinton era) idea that we should capture him and "bring him to justice" (trial), was met with general scoffing by libs.Till Bin Laden hadnt been caught in an amount of time satsfactory to dems and libs in the press. There WASNT ANYTHING Bush could have said to satisfy them.EVER.
THEORIGINALEXSCAPER 2 weeks ago
@THEORIGINALEXSCAPER What liberal scoffed at the idea of killing Bin Laden? There was plenty he could have said. And there was plenty he could have done to get him too. But he chose not to do it. Any of it. And now since a democratic president actually made the effort and got him, the republicans want to take credit. It's disgraceful.
travismays 2 weeks ago
@travismays Are you actually saying that NO ONE (liberals) has objected to Obama authorizing Bin Laden be killed, instead of being captured? Really. If Bin Laden could have been eliminated so easily, why did it take almost 3 years into the Obama presidency for it to happen? Without the chaos of the Afghan battlefield. Anyone can write a book about how Bush should have done this, or said that. As Bill states, it took Obama 16 hours to OK the mission. Bush 15 min in a school on 9/11. Hypocracy!
THEORIGINALEXSCAPER 2 weeks ago
@THEORIGINALEXSCAPER What I'm saying, is that you made the claim that liberals didn't want Bin Laden killed, so YOU should back it up with evidence. And from what I understand, no one knew where UBL was when Obama entered office...and it wasn't until a little over 2 years into his administration that they had information enough to act on. Why you're comparing Bush sitting around doing nothing for 15 min to Obama making a complicated military decision from circumstantial evidence, I'm not sure...
travismays 2 weeks ago
@travismays What I provided was a part of a Huffington Post article which showed the "uncomfortableness" the Obama admin, and libs had when it was revealed that Bin Laden was unarmed when he was killed. That story received a LOT of coverage. Shouting for revenge for 9/11 is great for people on the left.Till the realization that it actually involves killing someone. It wasnt a complicated decision when his military advisors let him know they knew where he was. It took Obama 16 HRS on SOLID intel!
THEORIGINALEXSCAPER 2 weeks ago

THEORIGINALEXSCAPER 2 weeks ago
@travismays ABC News reports that the Obama administration has justified the operation legally by citing the Authorization to Use Military Force Act of Sept. 18, 2001, which allows the president to use "all necessary and appropriate force" against persons who authorized, planned or committed the 9/11 attacks, as well as international law derived from treaties and customary laws of war. -
The authorization was enacted by the Bush administration.

On a diplomatic world level, what does our support for Israel do for the US in a positive way? What does the US get out of it in return? You obvious confuse talk radio, FOX, & Whiittle's scumbag PJ Media outfit for the rest of the world
DawnOfTheDead991 1 month ago
@DawnOfTheDead991 I never said we shouldn't have two state solution. My point is that Israel has a right to defend their lands and borders in any way they see fit. Especially when the entire Arab world has sworn a blood oath to bring about Israel's destruction. Barry stuck his foot in the shit and tried to force Israel to give up lands they need to keep their people safe! He's historically and politically ignorant to the facts of Palestine and Israel's history!
IruleOverProgressive 3 weeks ago
@IruleOverProgressive He never forced Israel to do that. As well as the real Jew & Israel haters consider Obama to be a tool of the Zionist too. But what the heck, Eventually there has to be some sort of compromise. Jordan isn't going to move their army into the West Bank to attack Israel as well as the Palis there have a negligible army.

The Iranian pursuit of nuclear weapons, what about Israel, they have neither confirmed nor denied their nuclear capabilities.
MichaelPolios 1 month ago
@MichaelPolios Has Israel called for extermination of Iran? Oh wait I'm sorry that wasn't what they said.... has Israel called to wipe another nation off the map?????
Truth is Israel probably has nukes but they haven't nuked anyone yet so I'm not too concerned. Iran doesn't even recognize Israel's right to exist, if they don't recognize their right to exist how can they be trusted with a nuclear weapon? Is North Korea better now that they have a nuke or their neighbors? It's the same concept.
StupidCommentsMademe 1 month ago
@StupidCommentsMademe President Ahmadinejad of Iran never said he wanted to wipe Israel off the map, you like many other people have taken what he said way of context. What he really said was that "Our dear Imam said that the occupying regime must be wiped off the map". When he says the occupying regime he is referring to the Israel illegal occupation of foreign territory for 80 years. And many people, not just Ahmadinejad are against zionism, christopher hitchens for example.
MichaelPolios 1 month ago
@MichaelPolios Taking it out of context?.... So the regime which is it's own country and culture should be wiped off the map.... Alright we will have to agree to disagree there but let me address the "illegal occupation of foreign territory for 80 years" statement.
How exactly is their occupation illegal? Warning I like history.
I sympathize with you on no more extremist Zionist but most Zionist are not extremist and both sides are guilty of many terrible things but compromise is necessary.
StupidCommentsMademe 1 month ago
@StupidCommentsMademe The Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory has made a mockery of international law and human rights. The Israel occupation is illegal under UNSC Resolution 242, where it calls for "Withdrawal of Israel armed forces from territories occupied in the recent conflict" (1967 Six Day War). International law also prohibits the transfer of occupiers subjects to occupation zone, clearly Israel defies these laws even now.
MichaelPolios 1 month ago
@MichaelPolios Well if you want to get technical Israel seized the Palestinian territory from Jordan (an aggressor) in the 6 days war and later signed a treaty, as for the Golan Heights technically Israel is still at war with Syria, as for the Sinai that was returned to Egypt after Egypt agreed to recognized Israel's right to exist in the treaty after the Yon Kippur war. Recently Israel granted independence to Gaza and Hamas took over then began launching rockets into Israel.
StupidCommentsMademe 1 month ago
@MichaelPolios How can you expect a country that is surrounded by neighbors that hate it before it even existed? What about the proposal the Israel offered to the Palestinians offering back nearly all of Palestine with the exception of Jerusalem (Their Holiest City) on the conditions that Palestine recognize Israel's right to exist, condemn terrorism, and as a demilitarized zone. I am not positive on the last two (can't remember for sure off the top of my head) I'll check later I am in a rush?
StupidCommentsMademe 1 month ago
@MichaelPolios Even if I were to believe you in what supposedly Ahmadinejad meant... you're time is completely off. The nation of Israel has only been around since 1957 when the British gave the land to them. Prior to that it was Palestine controlled. Israel took it as a gift and other lands that they now occupy since 1957 were results of other countries attacking them. As they pushed their enemies back they held their ground and kept the land, I can't blame them for that.
theCTCamp 1 month ago
@theCTCamp Let's just correct those dates and some facts shall we?
The land was never 100% Palestinian controlled. British did NOT give the land to the Jewish people... and certainly not in 1957.
The British surrendered their mandate over Palestine in 1947, averring to the UN partition plan. The surrounding Arab states, already attacking the Jewish people, then totally rejected the UN plan and 5 of them invaded. Israel won.
In 1967 Israel pre-empted Arab aggression & won The 6 Day War.

@Countrygent100 Let's do get facts strait. The British established what would become Israel in 1922.

So the 1979 Iranian Revolution that got rid of the US backed dictatorship of Shah constituted an act of war against the US?
Things went to shit in Iran but rebelling against US control doesn't constitute an act of war against some foreign overlord.
As for diplomatic mayhem Bush wrecked a lot of relations with his violent unilateralism.

By making peace treaties.

Countrygent100 6 months ago
@Countrygent100 Sinai was Egyptian territory to begin with, taken in wars resulting from israeli aggression. The removal of settlers from Gaza was a propaganda gesture: they were moved from one occupied area to another. This after decades of destruction of agriculture, pollution, uprooting of trees, and other atrocities in Gaza. Israel has made no concessions: it is only stealing more and more Palestinian land every day. These are not concessions that Israel has given, they're mouldy crumbs.

TheTokkin 5 months ago
@TheTokkin you are out of your mind. The Zionists declared independence as part of the UN's plan for a divided Israel. The Arabs didn't like that, so the armies of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt all attacked at once. The Israeli soldiers fought back better and took more than the UN sanctioned plan said, but it was self defense. it was similar in 1967 when we were attacked and then reclaimed Jerusalem in the counterattack. By your logic, America should give back it's land to natives
stephabell716 5 months ago
@TheTokkin You clearly don't have the slightest regard whatsoever for the United Nations resolutions - except when they favour the Palestinians. In 1947 a United Nations Resolution partitioned the region into two states: one Jewish, the other Arab/Palestinian. The Jews of the region accepted the Partition Plan - the Arabs rejected it; believing that a war THEY STARTED would exterminate the Jews - "Drive them into the sea!" (there's 'ethnic cleansing' for you!). The Palestinians, like you, lost!
Countrygent100 5 months ago
TheTokkin 5 months ago
@TheTokkin And as regards "Palestinian land", what gives you the insane idea that there ever was an independent sovereign state called Palestine? How about 1946 as a random date? You know, when the land was ruled by Britain?
Name one ruler of that 'united' Palestine (btw, Arafat was NEVER a ruler of a united Palestine!) name its form of government; its unique language & capital; what was its flag; did it have a seat on the UN or the League of Nations...?
Palestine as a nation? Never was!
Countrygent100 5 months ago
@Countrygent100 Just because the Ottoman and British Empires ruled over Palestine with force, it doesn't that Palestinians didn't exist. Palestinian Arabs were the majority in Palestine: they had lived there for more than a thousand years. Ottoman and British Empires were violent institutions who had seized these lands by force: they had no moral right to decide who lives there or doesn't. The decision to form israel should have belonged to the Palestinian arabs who owned the land.
TheTokkin 5 months ago
@TheTokkin This is fun. I love using your words against you. Everyone's watching, by the way. You say "...seized these lands by force: they had no moral right to decide who lives there or doesn't...." On these grounds, by what right did the Muslims seize the land by force from the CHRISTIANS c.636-640 AD? By what right did the Romans seize the land by force from the Jews in 64 BC & then after in 70 AD and 135 AD? The same "right" as the Jews who regained their land in 1947! You lose!
Countrygent100 5 months ago
@Countrygent You use 1400 year old events from an ancient bygone era to justify actions today? With such logic, you can justify any atrocity. But it isn't unusual for otherwise smart people to discard all elementary values to defend Israel's clearly reprehensible actions. Besides that, the Muslim conquest of eastern Rome was an imperial venture, not ethnic cleansing of the kind that Israel practices today. Christians continued as a majority in the middle east for 200 years into muslim rule.
TheTokkin 5 months ago
Countrygent100 5 months ago
@Countrygent100 Most semitic peoples originated from the Arabian peninsula, (Babylonians, Canaanites, judeans) even including most of the pre-Islamic Egypt. The fact that there's a great deal of Arab genetic imprint in Egypt does not mean ethnic cleansing. Nor is there any archaeological or historical evidence for this: churches were continued to be built and expanded for three centuries into Muslim rule. Islam was, at first, primarily a cult of the Arab elite (who had a lot of children).
