Hey guys your all wrong about Zerg. They are powerfull and Terran is not imba. Do you think Zerg is meant to be played as Terran? NO its not another Terran race! Zerg is meant for Guerrilla Warfare, surounding, and retreating after harrass. Jesus guys what u think Nydus Network is for? Also Broodlords alone destroy all Terran ground forces; screws up with their AI making Terran auto attack those little things B-lords spawn. @beitia Marines and Marauders arent op.... Marines suck vs any gateway units period.... Marauders are good but only when they get that concussive shell to kite and if the protoss has sentries then he can box them in which means they cant kite which means they got slashed down by the zealots and stalkers... and zerglings by themselves beat marines/marauders by getting a surround and taking them out quickly. 1 zergling beats 1 marine and since you can get 2 lings at the price of 1 marine....

I find this video disturbing because if a terran in SC1 had built 2 wraiths and 6 vultures (or any equal amount of harrassing units) against a zerg that early in the game, it would have been considered an all in build.

I think the spire needs to build faster because mutas would have been the perfect counter to that harass and the spire takes for-fucking-ever to complete.

They have the 2 best harass units; helion and reaper. They have a ton of openings and mid-tier options. The TvP match up is ok it's TvZ that's totally screwed up.

@ikamico I agree. I'm sick of people saying TvP is imba. I play all 3 and if there was a match-up I'd say is possibly imbalanced it would be TvZ as there is no clear Zerg counter to a mech build, short of very careful micro, mind control or brood lords. That said, I personally never use Marauders in this match-up as T because it's too poor against almost everything besides Roach (which Tanks and Thors can handle).

@Strand0410 Yeah, you don't se marauders as much in TvZ. The last time i saw them was in an Idra TvZ when he used ultralisks, and you know how often that unit is used. Zerg just has such little options vs. Terran. Mutalisks are pretty garbage TvZ because turrets are like 2.5x stronger than in Sc1 and 1 thor can take on 5 mutalisks. Lings, roaches, hydras all die so fast against T mech. Range units beat infestors. I don't know what but something has to be done with TvZ,

At the end of this first video we can see some heavy evidence of imbalance in this matchup. You have the Terran who has heavily invested in harassment with 2 Banshees, Cloak for them, as well as around 6 Hellions with, Infernal pre-igniter, so as a result, he should be open to a counter attack from the 10 roaches that the Zerg counterattacks with, but Terran was also able to get 4 siege tanks up which with high ground makes him practically unbreakable. It just seems like a very imba matchup!

@NeverBackDowner You have to remember though that the zerg went for a third expand which makes the terran's harass basically a timing push. The zerg would have had a lot more roaches or other units to counter the banshees if he hadn't been trying to saturate his third. It was Jung's gamble on the third expand that got his natural killed.

@avinotion Nice theory, but it's more that there is a larger niumber of people to understand the builds, including the entire Korean server which obviously includes the top players. As such, we can see now that the best Terran players vs. best Zerg players, Terran wins a majority of the time. This is mostly because Terran just has way too many tech options to choose from early game whereas Zerg only has 1 or 2 and even Protoss only really have 1 opener vs. Terran. Mostly nerf Terran versatility!

in this game's case it's theSTC's "fault". he just steamrolled the other guy no problem with just plain good out-of-the-ordinary micro and macro.

if you saw HD's last cast of Idra vs drewbie, you can clearly tell Idra had the opportunity to switch to hard air attack (needing only one spire-> greater spire) and that way could get the job done a lot faster. it's a matter of decision making

@NeverBackDowner As a high ranking RANDOM sc2 player, I agree zerg late game is very weak. Terran has no weaknesses, no matter what way they tech its a strong way. It takes out the strategy because their is no need for strategy when unit composition is that strong. Siege tanks seem to be the most OP thing in the game atm. The overall offense and defensive abilities for the cost is beyond amazing... On top of all of that protoss and zerg do not even have a unit that is comparable.
