@Honda4wheeler4ever no, no no. they have metallurgist that know their stuff! they know what they are doing, they know how to take a plain carbon steel and pump it up to 10x the original strength...
was wondering if you could show us the radiators... .and inside the back engine. tell me can you raise the upper radiator in order to get to the lower one ?
i think 1 of the best & safest skid steers out there we had a 185hf & as u say u could overload it with no problem Would buy another if the time arose again
@LottsaLasagna we used a skidsteer cleaning up a roofing job and the buzzer never shut off because one of the safety features was broken, it was got to be pretty annoying lol
the one arm of the jcb is more powrfull than any skid steer on the market. they also back the arm for life if has any problems the back it up service is great for jcb also the invented the backhoe also. ours is the one generation befor 185 perkins diesel and it is a good machine thosands of hours and the pump is the only problem i have seen you deifnitely want the high volume pump for these machines especially if you use a broom or mill.
Gentlemen, I have obviously sold this unit long ago so this is a real objective comment. And I am not a JCB dealer either. I have used 3 of these units and they guarantee the boom for life! Yes, forever! Will all the other manufacturers do that? They are so overbuilt it is ridiculous. You can overload them well past tipping and the boom doesn't even begin to deflect. If you don't try it you're kidding yourself. Why crawl in and out sometimes underneath the bucket needlessly?
Now it just needs 4w steer for less tire wear and smoother driving (automatic steering brakes when you turn the steering wheel into the end stop) and it would be the ideal farm yard machine !
if theres a door then why is the front all open wouldnt make sense to close the front with glass, its a cool design for its job but i dont think it is the right machine to operate with heavy lifts
I would only have a JCB skid steer. The JCB is very safe and looks good. I am a farmer, and use the JCB ROBOT for feeding round bales to cows. The bales have to be held up off the ground, so the net can be pulled off. With any other make of skid this would mean getting out of the front of the cab under the bale/between the loader arm and chasis of machine, or over it! I would never buy a skid steer without a side entry door.
if its anything like a telehandler you have a tough time seeing the right side of your bucket

also the two speed transmission is hard to beat in these things the will go about 25 mph which is fast enough of the wheel base .
cricketrider 2 years ago
@cricketrider are you serious 25mph? thats insane
JonneyTurbo65 1 year ago
@cricketrider correction 25km/h max (25mph is 40km/h, no way)

nachos1990 2 years ago
@Blatta77 yes, they have tracked machines with the same cab design
mudmachineF150 1 year ago
@dawsongrant98 yea, or rip the door off like all the others. jcb's are great machines.

I saw one of these working but a tracked model and it looked real nice and easy to handle but im not convinced.

that one arm design can't be nearly as strong as the traditional 2 arm design, like on Bobcat SkidSteers.
J12345cat 2 years ago
Its cool, but i still dont trust that one sided arm thing. Just doesnt seem safe.

you use a skid steer to dig pools
gfpd2722 3 years ago
they should make an option for extending the boom- like a mini zoomboom, now THAT would be very cool. Otherwise, good design!
