Yes I could have afforded it. But as it was driven away with the keys, it would have not been much use, as a GPS System can be disabled in less than 3 seconds with a bucket of water.

It was plastered over every Honda forum going. reported on TWOC, ANPR, it was posted in 7 different countries and not a sniff, heyho - only have to wait 19 more days for my private plate and its over with.

If the garage left the keys out mate they are laiable. You left it in their care. If they'd taken it out and stuffed it into a wall it wouldn't have been you claiming on the insurance.

If the police won't file a criminal case against them you should be able to take it as a civil case against the garage for your losses, inconvenience etc.

Shame... u mentioned gutted... I understand that police is still looking for it. In this case I would not like to have them found it. In poland you may claim back 100% of car value for a year time in case of accident that damaged the car in more than 70% and in case of car being stolen.

The keys were taken from TTS's office whilst they were being burgled. They probably had that little tag on them that said "Oh, I fit that red one there - steal me"

Keys stolen? Hope it will be covered by the insurance :( My friend had similiar situation in poland. A blondie stole his keys along with registration card. Insurer refused to pay it back. Messing with the wrong womens :( Nice alloys I must say.
