@AaalexPlaysHalo Do you have the hardware from Pinnacle like the movie box? You can connect a camera up using the RCA conncetions and bring in audio at the same time but you may need a powered microphone to do that. You can always record a live audio voiceover with your video playing back in the timeline. I hope that this helps!
@NMbluestormtothemax The 1st thing u want to do is to make sure u do not record a voiceover with a buzz in it.You are going to need an audio editing program to pull out that background frequency...it is not an easy or perfect process. I do not know what version of Studio you have but one version of Studio came with Sound Soap and that software had the ability to edit audio. How did u record the audio? Pinnacle Studio will work with an USB microphone like AVID Vocal Studio.
@GothicsChocolate That is easy to do. If you take your cursor and park it on the audio line below the video clip the hand will turn from a hand to an arrow...when it turns to the arrow you can click and pull hte audio level down and this will mute the audio just for this clip.
@kylepkedyou Audacity is an audio editing program? You can cut audio, record audio and add filters to your audio. Filters include reverb, dissolve up and dissolve down...etc...You can then choose how to export your audio as a MP3 or a Wav File.
I have pinnacle and I have my video sperated into different parts using split clip and I put a Dissolve in between one of my two clips so it would dissolve into the next clip but then when I try to mute the audio on just that one clip before it then it mutes through the whole clip but then when it gets to the dissolve you can hear a little bit of the sound and then it goes to the next clip. Anyone know how i could fix it?
What version of Studio are you running? Scorefitter is always under Source. You may want to reload your software again. I have never seen Scorefitter missing.
2) Go to Audio Toolbox/Click on Speaker above timeline
3)Select the Plug In Button
4)Select Speed and Select Okay
-You know have speed selected on the audio you can speed it up or slow it down. There is also pitch control too which is great if you are doing speed change on a Voiceover.
1) Grab the audio wave file and drag it to the bottom. This can be done from the timeline or you can use the audio mixer and grab the lever and lower it down.
2) You can select the mute audio button on the right hand side of the timeline. OR
3) Lock the video track on the right and select the audio track and hit the Delete Button.
First what version of Pinnacle Studio are you using? Is this happening to all of your mp3 songs? Are these songs that you have downloaded from the iStore?
how do you recombine split audio clips? i split mine and now if i try and go back and edit the video part, the audio gets edited too which i do not want. i think this has to do with it being split but im not sure, help?
Once you have your audio track the way you want it...I recommend using the LOCK button on the Right hand side of the track. You will notice that if you lock the Audio Track...you will not be able to change it. Now you can freely work on the Video Track without messing up your Audio. I hope that this helps. Also, when you cut an audio clip...Studio does not destroy the audio...it is always there...just pull the end of it out and the audio is back.

Is there a way to record audio from 2 sources at once: i.e., the Dazzle composite in and a USB mic?
