Makes sense with context. Earlier in the series the vice principal gave him a straw man [usually meant as a curse] that was filled with beans, which sort of implies the vp's ill intent. In this same episode it was also revealed that the principal [the gasping guy] only gave the vp a butter roll [possibly this very one?] for his birthday. This is probably a really weird warning regarding that.
