If your buying it for looks then yes but for gaming and multimedia stuff i'd rather have the first generation camera phone to be honest! The video quality is rubbish as they only play in old 3gp formats so the quality is lost there, Most downloadable games wont install or run on the device and music is way too quiet and i know this because i got one and i hate it but i have no choice but to keep it as i lost receipt with the box headphones and it has loads of scratches on it!

I just got an LG Shine almost a week ago and I love it. Everything is so great except the battery life. But otherwise, it's great!

It reaqlly depends on how much you use your phone. I feel like the battery life is worse than average. Sometimes, I send and recieve 50 txt while watching youtube and getting phone cals and that last a day. If I only send a few txt and calls thats it last up to 2-3 days. it just really matters on how much you use it.

Hi. Ive had this phone since its launch day and I think its great, apart from a couple of downers:

1. Video recording is really quite bad as you can see in this video.

2. The battery meter is very unreliable.

3. Videos that you convert and download to the phone, must be 15fps. and they lag when played anyways.

as you can see from this video he is playing on the lg shine and not recording from it hence the fact the camera on the back on the phone and not been able to record a person using it own phone silly!!
