I just tied my first fly ever... olive wooly bugger. I was looking at the book that told me how to whip finish. Took me close to a half hour to figure it out. Your video just answered all my questions, in 1 minute. You are a blessing, thank you!
thank you so much...i just got into flies and just bought a kit..not even an hour ago,i broke out all the tools and was holding this one and thought to myself WHAT THE HECK IS THIS! ? lol i am hoping to add some hair to my ice fishing jigs i make and thought no better time then now to try it.
Thank you for getting to the point quick, and most of all, shooting the video from a first person view instead of a third person view like many of the other videos.
thank you i hope you know how nice it is to have simple videos like this on youtube for us beginners. its a little overwhelming when you get all your tools and dont know what half of them are for. thanks again

What helped me with this video was the view from behind, so to speak, showing the users perspective.
Great video.

I could never get used to that, I got taught by an old school fly tyer and flyfisherman to use a empty inkpen tube or my fingers

Excellent; I find myself come back here from time to time when I "forget" how to use this useful tool.
