yes but hopefully and most likely microshaft can only take it "so far" before they turn their "life just got easier" into "life just got more complicated" you see the average user won't be able to function in a complex operating system so it will have restrictions that linux never will
it doesn't support Aero, for that you need something like VMware or something like that although I'm not too bothered with the Aero not working, use Virtual PC myself

ubuntu does this trick years ago. MS is playing catchup with linux now :(
