It's a shame - on the first Deicide album you could understand every single word and the effect was three times as brutal. These days (i.e. the last ten years) Glen just sounds like all the other guys. Like he's trying to sound deep-voiced, but isn't. I'd rather hear what he's saying, delivered expressively like on the first album. Lame.

Eh, I don't think so.

There's a few sick songs, no doubt about that. I just think Stench had the brutality Till Death has, only it was more melodic, the solos were better, and some songs ( example being Walk With The Devil... ) were able to get you really pumped n shit, but still had some cool harmony as well.

Till Death is still good though. Severed Ties, and In The Eyes of God are prime examples of Deicide's intensity.

The only good song on one of the shittiest albums I've ever heard. As a big Deicide fan, I'm very disappointed in this album. I can't believe I wasted $16 on a piece of shit album when I could've bought Krisiun's Conquerors of Armageddon. Bad mistake on my part.

Stench is Deicide's best, and seems it will remain its best. Let's hope Steve gets his riffs in line and less shitty. And a fast album SHOULD BE FAST, not SLOOOOOOOOW.
