@rctsos The belief by most Canadians is that all people are generally equal, it is just that some have more opportunities or have been brought into better opportunities in life. So the whole 3rd world country thing isn't a major factor. The hope is that the immigrants come and contribute to the country by having a positive attitude and trying their best at whatever they do. I really like how multicultural Canada is and hope it stays that way.

Unlike Europe, Canada is an immigrant nation mostly like the U.S. The biggest thing that most Canadians pride themselves in, is that people from all over the world come to live in Canada for opportunity, refuge problems or freedoms sometimes not available in some nations. A big difference between Canada and other developed immigrant nations is that we want you to keep your identity and not form some new Canadian identity.

ohh , I'm very touched when they were in the airport leaving for canada , it reminds me 3 years ago of my mom crying and my dad in the airport of agadir morocco when i was leaving morocco by myself at the age of 17 years going to university in america ! nice video
