  • Youre very welcome! Im in california, USA. I actually just left a comment on the other video, part 2 i think, about the putty.... I just purchased a compressor and airbrush so i cant wait to paint it, but first i gotta take care of those gaps, thanks for commenting back!!

  • @coladito1 Thanks for your comment and I'm glad it helped. This build was a nightmare for me and I'll not be making any more helis!! I'm in the UK. You?

  • Wow! Amazing! I am building the academy kit for this, and let me tell you: the fitting is horrible!!!! I am not even close to the skill level that you are on, but this 4 part video sure helped me with my build, thank you so much for the vids, you have no idea how much this helped. Where are you from/ located??

  • Instead of masking the canopy interior, then spraying the interior colour, I would have done the first coat with an interior colour on the exterior, then covered with the exterior colour, but great build :P, I'd just kill myself trying to mask the interior of a canopy.

  • Just watched all 4 parts of this build; very nice indeed. I particularly liked the scratch built details on the rotor head :)

All 4 parts 'liked' and added to my favourites list :)

  • @bruce3371 Thank you very much. A compliment indeed.

  • @ModelloursWorkshop Thank you. I'd like to see your finished model

  • @MakingModelsAgain Ha ha!! Well spotted my friend!

  • nice work :) just finished the same model. it was a great kit.

  • Oh, btw, I forgot to say, nice use of the Wilhelm Scream at 2:17! ;)

  • @MakingModelsAgain Ha ha!! Well spotted my friend!

  • Cool nice end result:)

  • @thehjupo Thank you

  • Great end result... :) Well done.. :)

  • @BasicModelling Thanks Rob

  • Don't know what you've attached the canopy with, but if it's one of the white PVA glues - Micro Kristal Klear - that type of thing, you could probably remove it without too much trouble, peeling off the residue. Then - and ALWAYS try this on an inconspicuous area first - you could coat the canopy in Fairy Power Spray (it's in a green bottle) which will/should safely remove the matt varnish. Obviously, it will also remove the frame colour too, but at least you'll only be back to square one!

  • @MakingModelsAgain Anyway, stunning build as always and looking forward to the Martlett! Can't wait to see what you do with 1/32!!!

  • @MakingModelsAgain Thank you. It will be interesting I'm sure! Looks to be a nice kit so looking forward to getting going with it

  • @MakingModelsAgain I used Humbrol clear fix which is quite gummy so your solution may well work. I'll keep you posted! Thank you

  • turned out very nice!

  • Great work it looks awesome....bad luck on the canopy...shit happens as they say : (
