I am a physician who did not cooperate with the ever so powerful local hospital who was in bed with the largest local insurance company. physicians who were financiallly and politically tied to the hospital party line.If you are patient or family member of a patient in our current healthcare environment, your very last hope is the voice of a truly independent physician who is courageous enough to uncover the truth that the hospitals and insurance industry do not want you to discover.
I just wrote a letter to my congressman, urging him to improve our health system, and I haven't lived in the US for 4 years (though still a US citizen). If I can do something, so can you. If you walk out Sicko hoping that you'll get better health care, but then do nothing, then you will have wasted the momentum created by this film. You must act now if you want change!
Well said ,but we could use our patriots here , waiting for the Bush to declare Marshall Law/Banana Republic miniDick/TatorWannabe rather than be responsible enuff to pay the bill for the corporate entitlement excesses.Must be the RNC Family Values.

I lost my OBGYN because he couldn't afford the malpractice insurance. The major Insurance companies are the problem. Greed and evil.
