im trying to record with my ultra hd but the cymbals sounds horrible and i was in a decent distance any tips?

umm this was recorded about 3 meters away so 10 feet away or so.
try that, i was using the standard def camera, not the hd one so maybe they might have updated the audio drivers in the newer cameras.

maybe because in the normal one visual may not be as good as hd version but audio is beter and the hd one has better visual but not very good audio

nah doode.
my flip was about 3 or 4 meters away from the kit ..
maybe if your too close it`l be a bit waveyy so just try and move ur cam back a bit.
