that was fun to watch! I still remember apia in the beginning of the 70s, most of the roads were only just paved, when it rained you thought they were dirt roads, pigs and chickens wandered about even in the middle of downtown. We have found some old home movies of samoa in the 70s and 80s which are being converted to video, so will be posting them on youtube in the new year!
i was there in june 2010. it really has changed. Best time in ages.
