I don't understand why the Saispan government hasn't paid for Killing her. There is plenty evidence showing that she was there and many locals of that time saw a white woman and man there. I know its and old case but I don't feel justice is served for such an idol.
I remember this song from my early childhood. Somebody sang it to me, and the only thing that studk with me was the last line of the chorus. The movie made me think of it. Thanks for putting it up.
You mean to say that Amelia lived 25 more years after she disappeared. Now this incident is some thing similar to Subhash Chandra Bose's dissapearance also in a plane. Later on there were many theories that Bose was alive in India and lived as a common man in the disguise of a wandering priest. There are lots of theories in both the cases but no one knows what exactly happened .
You can check the neilnils channel, upper left hand corner under piano player in the channel description box, for the Earhart website that includes the Chandra Bose case parallel. Thanks, nn
The Pilot's license, just like a couple of Amelia's early job applications sometimes featured inaccurate info supplied by Amelia. Both as Amelia & later self, she was reluctant to reveal her true age to people. However, after she achieved fame her self-supplied data all featured her true 1897 birth year. And yes, in the Irene-Amelia website there is info in two different places about Chandra Bose, plus a chapter titled "The Bose Parallel" in 2004's 'Protecting Earhart.'
New Harmony Sisterhood Band - back in the day, sigh - covered this.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology and sociology:
(1) Why do female love flying?
(2) Why do females want to pilot an aeroplane instead of just being flight attendants to serve passengers?
(3) Why some females prefer to be flight attendant instead of a pilot?
(4) Form the role of females in today's aviation, what social value(s) do those "flying females" represent?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

Dear All,
I have some curious questions:
(1) Since the first aeroplane was invented by Wright Brother in 1903, what does flying means to our society and the world?
(2) What is aviation and flying means to female?
(3) Why do ladies love flying, including me?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
P.S. I am a lady who enjoy flying.

Such a nice song. But so sad. I cried, when I first listened to it. And I really don't cry often.
Nice to see, that some persons still think of Amelia Earhart.

I didn't know Ronnie Lane had covered this song. I first heard this song done by Plainsong off their 1972 album "In Search of Amelia Earhart."
