@kommisar No. Amendment XIII freed the slaves. Amendment XIV rewrote the 3/5ths clause (see Amendment XIV, clause II). It is a misinterpretation of Amendment XIV that gives rise to the FALSE notion of birthright citizenship. Senators Jacob Howard and Edward Cohen clearly stated how the amendment was NOT meant to include the notion of "birthright citizenship."

I agree we should change our culture of sprawl to a culture of building "up", but we are by no means anywhere near our limits. Not even close. Look at a map of density here. We have lots of room, and lots of resources. Turning away new people to help build us up towards a unified goal is foolish.

@fahQaszholez True, they are out of control, I live in Miami so I have an idea of what you are talking about. But do you know whos fault this is? This isnt necessarily the Mexicans who are coming here being opportunists. Its the Federal governments fault for not doing enough. Even the state governments have tried, such as that law in Arizona that was struck down on the grounds of "discrimination". The Feds are the real problem, these gangs are merely taking advantage of our weak system.

@fahQaszholez Move from the infested states, and get to the Northern/Center ones. Then there will be a more concentrated population in those states of anti-illegal immigrant voters. When a limb is infected, sometimes its necessary to amputate to save the rest of the body. The liberal/immigrant states are a lost cause. There is nothing that can be done with them, except annex them off to Mexico. Save what you have left while you still can.
