What we need is a whole lot more scientist speaking about these issues. All of the scientist that I have heard basically say the same thing. We are having problems as a direct result of solar storms on a magnitude beyond what we could imagine. These same types of problems are happening in other planets in the Milky Way albeit without the city issues. The Sun is having a storm and with the weakening of our ozone level we may pay a higher price than other planets do.

In other words, it could easily be more than expected or it could be less depending on what humans do or don't do as regarding the poisoning and polluting of the earth. It really comes down to what kind of world do we want the future generations to inherit? What manner or quality of life are the present generations leaving to the ones still to come?

@jacobpaprotskiy Sea levels will still rise due to the "water cycle." Evaporation will cause more rain to fall, which in turn will return to the oceans, thereby rising sea levels all around the water. If all the ice melts, sea levels could rise 120 feet or more.
