@deviant2k I love those mats! I pull them out for special occasions (live gigs, recording) but use them sparingly because I can't find replacements that I like at the moment outside of my stanton super thin mats.
@CzechRiot At the moment its not up. I like to give some space between the mix releases and the playlists to give the vinyl pressing labels out there a break from all the digital download/dj wankers that just use the playlists as search engine torrent fodder.
If you email me direct off the blacktigerrecordings . com site I will see what I can do.
Anyway, I just thought your "tie ins" in your conspiracy video were a bit weak so I felt I would make a point by linking something in that has nothing to do with something else, kind of like some of your "facts".
No offense, but I just think conspiracy theories that primarly target the bush family are biased simply for that reason. To target the bush family. Which is pretty weak.
I also have the floor mix kicking around. Will put it up later. I have been doing it for years and years and years. I use them two fold, first as a "clutch" so to speak that helps save my fingers from spindle squeezing, and to make micro adjustments or hard adjustments and reduce the "whiirrrr" sound of it. There is one other use. It helps with dished records where if you touch the label it might stick to your finger and pop back at you. This way is much better for control.I love mxnin recs!
Well putting up the headphone side shows 1. you are really doing it and 2. how you are doing it and what exactly you are doing when things are cued up. Made more sense to me to post these vs a ten minute mix. More interesting to watch and hopefully it knocks a few digital wankers back.
I use the 45RPM adapters as a kind of "Clutch" for speeding up and slowing down the records. Originally I did it to save my thumbs from twisting the posts all the time, but then I found I could reduce the "whiirrr" during a correction using them instead. Works very well and I have been doing it for over 10 years now.
Remember, the reason why we should all play vinyl is because we can read the music. Yes, it has limitations, but through those limitations, a great freedom comes from it. when playing I am chasing perfection. I can never get there, but it is the pursuit of it that is the pleasure that I get from playing records.
Digital DJs just want glory for nothing. I am not in it for glory. I am in it for challenge and self improvement. This is why DJing with records is more like a martial art than anything else.
This was also produced to test a theory of mine that I could play from 0:00:00 and land my last record ending extremely close to 60 minutes. Watch the whole series and see how close I come. I didn't time this out before I recorded the mix.
Digging the Platipus mats ;)

I'm trying to find the tracklisting for your Dark Days set, but it's nowhere to be found (or is it somewhere?...)

Now this, i like. You did a great thing by giving the entire headphone input. Nicely done! Love the comment about not drifting into the mix, lol.

Good point, but its not hard house.

BTW, most of the stuff i am doing between tracks is to keep my brain busy so I don't drift too hard into the music and forget what I am doing :)

Never thought of letting people hear what there not supposed to.
So, why you keep the 45 adapter on top of each record?
