If you look closely he just opened virtual box with windows already running...this is fake...the RHOST would be the "receiving" computer and the LHOST would be your ip...it would be more believable if he at least chose a payload

They could be socially engineered into going to the server. (ie: sitting at the coffee shop "hey, I'm having troubles getting to a website can I try it on your computer to see if it's the website or my computer?". Some people are all to willing to fall for stuff like that. After all your just going to a harmless website that won't seem to work for them either. "oh ok, it looks like maybe the sites just down, thanks".
