  • Trade is expanding and tariffs and duties are being lowered around the world.Free trade is on the rise and export restrictions are loosening up.Forex has become the world's biggest financial market. For exporters, importers and traders alike, the business world is becoming barrier-free.But throughout these prosperous times, developing countries continue to be left out,Developing countres are increasingly counting on forein direct investment,or to lift sanctions,in order to survive.

  • Who's from Durham Business School for the BEA summative? Let's vote up here~~

  • Extremely boring

  • Hmm... seems like free trade favours the economies that have the MOST comparative advantages. Sadly, it is NOT the US. Probably China now.

  • Its true that free trade makes us wealthier. In Singapore, they export manufactured good overseas while trading for raw materials. Trade is Singapore's main source of income and it has made the country one of the top developed countries ^^

  • Check it out: "GLOBIAL" Launching next week. Helping small businesses.

  • @0HippyHunter0 I'm sorry sir I don't speak to idiots. Instead of being a fox news dick rider maybe you would like to educate yourself and google how obama is fast tracking 3 trade agreements.

  • We should gain the "trust" back. The trust to each other, the trust to our manufacturers, to trust that we can do it, again. GLOBIAL is a great attempt to inspire "trust". globial.com

  • Free trade can only work between peoples that have a similar standard of living, otherwise the jobs will go to the nation with the cheapest labor, as has happened between the USA and China. Only an idiot or a brainwashed fool cannot understand this. Thus, protectionism is necessary to prevent the transfer of wealth and jobs. The Chinese understand this which is why they impose tariffs on countries with even cheaper labor then China.

  • @ResistanceReportCom Protectionism also leads to the protection of inefficient businesses. There should only be protectionism if we are trying to nurture certain infant industries. If you keep protecting businesses from competition, they will get complacent and inefficient. Protectionism was one of the reasons the Great Depression dragged on and on, everyone raised their tariffs, which hurt trade.

  • @prepschoolkid What makes you think that we need free trade to maintain competition? Before this insane free trade treason started we had competition between American companies, and as a result we produced the best products in the world, now we have free trade and we make crappy products to cut costs to keep up with slave wages in China, Mexico, etc. Also, protectionism did not lead to or extend the Great Depression, the FED's policy of constricting the money supply did that.

  • @ResistanceReportCom Look at the American auto industry for example. In the 70s and 80s the big 3 were getting hammered by Japanese competitors. At that time the quality of American cars wasn't very good at all. Now with increased competition American automakers are making higher quality vehicles than before. You can now make high quality products in other parts of the world for a lot cheaper. Manufacturing in this country has become more efficient, high end, and higher quality over the years.

  • @prepschoolkid It didn't take Japanese competition to improve American car quality. I would have improved on its own if the US government would stop meddling in the markets. Regulations, and the Chrysler bailout in 1980 for example.

  • @ResistanceReportCom The Hawley Smoot tariff made the Depression a lot worse than it should have been. Imagine if we raised our tariffs, and then our major trading partners raised their tariffs in retaliation..a trade war would ensue and that would be horrible for our fragile economy. When other nations retaliated against Hawley Smoot American imports and exports declined by more than half. Now global trade represents a large part of our economy, a tariffs would not be good at all.

  • @prepschoolkid No, the Smoot tariff act didn't do anything. International trade was only four percent of the US economy at that time. You say raising tariffs on our trading partners would cause them to do the same to us? GOOD!!! So instead of a 350 BILLION dollar trade deficit every year, we would have a ZERO deficit! That means that 350 billion dollars would stop leaving our country, which in turn would allow American entrepreneurs to start manufacturing all of those products here again.

  • @ResistanceReportCom The Japanese were offering what the American car companies weren't at the time. Affordable, high quality cars with good gas mileage. If American car companies had been sheltered from competition they wouldn't have had any incentive to come up with better cars. Too much protectionism encourages complacency. Competition drives companies to innovate, and come up with better products. American car companies now are offering better cars in response to increased competition.

  • @prepschoolkid How do you know that American car mfgs wouldn't have made better cars? You say it's thanks to Japan, but how do you know? My point is this, unless there is a monopoly or a corporate conspiracy to make crappy cars, then we already have all the competition we need in this country, we don't need the Japanese to help us make better cars. Let me prove my point. The USA makes the best weapons in the world, yet what free trade agreement do we have to make that happen? None.

  • @ResistanceReportCom Increased competition did cause Detroit to realize that it needs to improve, that is how capitalism works. You either provide the consumers what they want, or your business does not survive. At the time the stuff coming out of Detroit wasn't the best quality. All of the big 3 automakers were making crappy cars, while Japanese automakers were making what Americans wanted. Also Japanese automakers make most of the cars driven in the US in the US. which means jobs.

  • @ResistanceReportCom Look it's this simple. If the gov't imposed tariffs to stop Japanese cars from entering the market, then the US would only we left with American cars or would have to pay a high price for Japanese imports. When the crisis hit, which auto makers had troubles? (Ford, GM , etc.) People bought Japanese imports over American cars due to their reliability. (in general). This forces American auto makers to come up with a better car, or auto package.

  • Or said another way, would you rather buy a Ford when you have the option to buy a Honda? Sure, Ford can eventually come up with a better car, but when the Japanese is taking market share from them, it really forces them to bring their A game.

The U.S. with its best weapons is really a different point. The U.S. has a big interest in having the best weapons, because that's how it bullies other countries. We spend quite a lot of money on our weapons.

  • Economists agree that the Smoot tariff had a negative effect on the US economy. It's true that international trade represented only 4% of the US economy but now it represents a large portion of the economy. Millions of jobs depend on foreign trade on one way or another. If there was a trade war those jobs would be destroyed. If we raised our tariffs and other countries raised theirs in retaliation, we would not be able to sell our products in overseas markets. That would not be beneficial.

  • @prepschoolkid Millions of Chinese jobs depend on foreign trade, not US jobs. I want our jobs back. So I say we need to impose protective tariffs on all cheap labor countries in the world. The only exceptions I would make would be for things we cannot grow or make here. We must make it more expensive for American companies to employ foreigners than Americans - than we will have our jobs back. If you don't like that idea, than I hope you like paying more taxes!

  • ea there are plenty of American jobs that depend on foreign trade. 10% of all jobs in the US depend on foreign trade in one way or another. Just as American companies are investing overseas, foreign companies have also invested in America. Foreign investment creates jobs, not destroy them. One in 5 US factory jobs depends on foreign trade-that is not "tiny" by any means. A country with a closed economy cannot prosper.

  • @prepschoolkid Foreign investment in China or Mexico does not create jobs here, in fact it destroys them, because we allow products made there to be sold here without a tariff. They are able to undercut American wages, and thus drive US companies out of business, which costs jobs. Do you not understand this? That's the purpose of a tariff, to prevent cheap foreign labor from undercutting your own peoples standard of living.

  • @ResistanceReportCom Yet as globalization increased through the 70s, 80s, and 90s, unemployment didn't drastically increase. Even the video states that overall Protectionism has a net negative effect on GDP and standard of living. Economies go through transition and change all the time, If you keep protecting industries, that will make them less able to compete on the world stage. If you look at the overall trend our economy has grown tremendously over the past few decades.

  • @prepschoolkid Unemployment didn't increase because our government began propping up the economy with a debt based system. We went from a mfg based economy, which made this country a superpower, to a debt based economy that broke us. Now that we can no longer prop up our service sector jobs with more debt, our economy is unraveling, and unemployment remains high, despite all of our Free Trade deals with cheap labor countries. If Free Trade was good for the USA, our economy would be very strong!

  • @ResistanceReportCom Though those seem like good ideas and common theories. The main problem is governmental intervention on the free market. Regulations, Restrictions, And lobbyists for the special interests of companies that want to keep out foreign competition because of them not competing well enough.

  • @ResistanceReportCom If we deregulated our market. Get rid of the minimum wage standard. Get rid of welfare and other forms of government aid. You'd then start to see many of those jobs pop back up here that where once there in the 50's and 60's, Especially in manufacturing. it would also suppress ghettos. Minimum wage standard has destroyed alot of our work force and put many people out of business. It also the most racist law there is on the books.

  • very useful video ,thank you!:)

  • Nothing operates in a vacuum, which means if someone gets disadvantaged, then somebody is on the other end- gets the advantage.

The relocation of jobs elsewhere means money saved. But ask yourself who benefits? It is usually the capitalists; not as much as to award jobs to other people who can do it for less but as much as to have more for their pockets as to the money saved. Ultimately they grow so big they can just muscle their way into negotiating more from people, politicians - all for greed

  • These trade unions are racist. An american job is more important than a chinese or mexican job? Is an american worth more in the eyes of God than a Vietnamese?

  • hey, what happened to the original of this video? the original link is missing and the video is changed. it is now more one sided of the neo-liberal approach, a lot of the disadvantages for developing countries has been left out...??

  • NAFTA destroyed the Corn production in Mexico which sent those jobs here to the USA. What did the mexican corn farmers do? They came illegally to the USA. Now we have mexicans not only taking over the farming arena in the USA, but they are taking over the construction industry as well!

  • One thing we need is less free trade and more protectionism. Make more goods in American rather than have them imported from these cheap labor countries where people work for $10/day. But too many people would freak out when they found out they can't buy a 47" big screen tv for $600 anymore, it would be more like $1800. I'm all for taxing the crap out of imports, let those goods be made in America and cost more

  • @wineverytime1 Why, though? A nation's prosperity has always been proven to progress through trade- when we are able to exchange something we have more of that a nation would like and they have more of something that we want. America has alot more money than developing countries have, which they want and are willing to trade some sort of good for, which we want- like your example of big screen TVs.

  • @wineverytime1 Besides that, a country like Japan, which is very limited in natural resources, has developed skills that make them marketable to nations that have an abundance of natural resources, like the US and Russia. No one can specialize in everything and free trade increases specialization, which expands what is available for purchase that's made in GOOD QUALITY. That's a beautiful thing. We're not hurting ourselves as Americans to exchange our $ for another nation's services..

  • @wineverytime1 I'm guessing you haven't thought about this for more than two seconds. There is an extremely obvious flaw in your philosophy.

  • @0HippyHunter0 It only took two seconds to write what you did since you explained nothing.....

  • @wineverytime1 Great observation.

  • Learn what Comparative Advantage is socialist morons. And take a microeconomics class. And stop trolling like creationists.

  • @LogicalFlawDetector It wasn't exactly prose, but damn, you said it well.

  • I tell you what Economics is. Farming. Agriculture. Home Building. Tree farming for lumber to build those homes and to make furniture. Developing a System that is clean and safe for Earth and its people.

  • @heartlessvietboy What about hair styling or real estate brokering? Maybe lawn maintenance?

  • End free trade and begin the healing...

Or tariff the crap out of Global Corporates who import products into the U.S putting our American Companies out of business, and our family and neighbors out of work.

  • It just dawned on me, MrAppleseed88 and BigORat didn't watch this video. They're just here to spew communist doctrine, which they think is cool or their only means to getting lots of money.

  • @MrAppleseed88 What about the unions? 19 of the top 50 all time donors are unions. Including 10 of the top 15. One more is Actblue a liberal lobbying group. All giving to the Democrats. Socialists are so confused they hate themselves and have no idea!

  • @MrAppleseed88 This is agruably the most ill informed opinion I've ever heard. I'm guessing you're really young, maybe 17 or 18. Where to begin? Unions drive prices higher than the market will sustain, people aren't willing to too-high prices simply because some union workers want to get more money. Unios are also amazingly inflexible. Like you see in Wisconsin, the public employees are keeping their extrodinary benifits and pay while the rest of the country flops, this isn't fair or productive

  • @MrAppleseed88 If you want those profits, then start a business. You have no right to tell other people how to run their affairs. Contribute nothing? Thats like saying the president is just a figure head, and really plays no role. Those angelic workers don't provide leadership (in any form) or vision. No organization can exist without those things. Add to that the management of daily affairs and they are the most important. No collateral? What planet do you live on?

  • @MrAppleseed88 Lets take the "evil" Wal-Mart billionaires who have "no skin in the game." Each of those billionaires has ~1.8 billion shares of Wal-Mart stock, making up 99% of their personal worth. If WalMart flops they go broke, end of story. Some business executive have no investment, but they are always at least as invested as the workers, they do a bad job and the company goes bankrupt then they are out of a job. So saying they have no skin in the game is flat out retarded.

  • @MrAppleseed88 Contracts? 1's and 0's? Do you not understand that those things are all legal documents? They are binding on the parties? These are enforcable. LLC's don't have 0 liability, the company is liable. You may not that the workers are also not liable for anything. The reason they get to keep the profits is because they came up with the idea and implimented it, the workers are replacable; highly. The rich employ almost all Americans, and shore up savings for th rest of us.

  • @MrAppleseed88 Chinese slaves? WTF? The 23 Trillion was spent on what? Programs for the public. Sitting on their trillions? You have no idea how anything works, do you? Where do you put trillions? In investments, in the bank, ect. That all gets reinvested. Where do you think the money for credit cards or car loans comes from? Poor people? no. You have to be removed, you are spewing straight ignorance; hate with no knowledge. They are causing harm? What about the billions they employ?

  • @MrAppleseed88 More absurd nonsense. Where do you come up with this crap? Can't manage resources? A minute ago the rich were useless and a waste now its THEIR responsibility to manage the entire countries resources and keep everyone employed! Well, son, which one is it? If you don't like how they handle it, you take over. Its stupid easy, right? A weak mind? I'm not the one spewing unfiltered, undigested, communist doctrine; failed I might add (100,000,000 dead people say so).

  • @MrAppleseed88 What about your claim that they are responsible for keeping all people employed and prosperous? Desperate? You should look around. People are eschewing your thoroughly tried and thoroughly failed ideology in favor of my peace loving, prosperity for all ideals. You can feel free to get rid of your rich and send them here, I WANT THEM!

  • @MrAppleseed88 No, YOU were lied to. Repeatedly. This is why young people should be seen and not heard. All opinion and no fact. Which reminds me of this "I prove they failed" you have proven nothing, not a single thing. All you've done is spew ancient, failed rhetoric. You aren't new, inventive, fresh, cool, or passionate (unless being stupid on purpose is a passion). I suggest you wait a good 10 years before you offer up another opinion. If it comes out as stupid as these did, wait another 10

  • @MrAppleseed88 oh, uh sure. Hope that works out for you.

  • @BigORat They "allow" them? Thats nonsense. You can't stop them, it is impossible. If you charge them too much they will just shut down, then start again some where else. We can't collect taxes? What horrible stupid bullshit have you been reading? Would you like it if Chinese could collect taxes off "former Chinese jobs in America"? Our debt is a product of the government spending WAY more than it has, and it has WAY more than it should, it has NOTHING to do with foreign trade, nothing.

  • @BigORat They don't allow shit! You can't stop them! It is impossible. If a company can't make it here they will move! Then, after your tariff, they will have no incentive to do business here. I'm guessing you don't know what Smoot-Hawley was? It, quite literally, destroyed the economy of the United States in 3 years. I just posted who pays the government, UNIONS. It isn't plain or simple, you just wish it was so the government would give you more of other peoples money.

  • @BigORat What high school did you go to? That is basic nonsense. In order to reach that conclusion you'd have to deny the last 50 years of history in its entirey, read some form of 'basic business' that doesn't exist, and hide from commen sense. Before you repeat these stupid ass opinions again, go look at the protectionist countries. They said "we want no imports! NO OUTSIDERS!" And they fell on their asses because of it.

  • @BigORat Free trade IS a good thing. How can you say its a trainwreck? The worlds living standard has increased exponentially because of it, and protectionism almost wrecked this country(and many others). The imports =exports fallacy is LONG dead, Im not wasting my time on that.

  • @heartlessvietboy WHAT?!

  • @0HippyHunter0

wake up dude. Living standards are way worse. I'd like to go to your world cuz it sounds perfect. The Reality is...hello...jobs go overseas so corporations can pay people way less to do the job. If you think American corporations are going to pay people 12$ an hour to work when they could pay 3$ an hour overseas...plz. Try calling customer service for Dell. Hello, it's India. Wake up.

  • @damonmcj Nothing you said is contradicted by anything I said. Let me ask you this: why do Americans deserve a job and Indians dont?

Also, living standards have not gotten worse, this has been proven over and over again. The average person in the US has to work substantially less to acquire the same goods as a person would have 20 years ago. The number of people living in absolute poverty (below $1 day) has also decreased dramatically.

  • @0HippyHunter0 This is stupid. Almost everyone agrees that Free Trade is destroying America. We have become a consumer nation and barely make anything.

  • @malik1 If by "everyone" you mean "socialist economic illiterates", and by "detroying America" you mean "creating endless opportunities that have sustained the United States, and other people all around the World, which drives innovation, moderinization, and efficiency" then yes, you'd be right. Free trade is all that is keeping us alive right now (no thanks to Obama). If we cut that we become a third world country.

  • @malik1 False. Nearly all economist agree free trade makes us wealthier. Do more research.

  • @Amanda62562 Trade makes us super wealthy, heck that's why the US is the richest nation on earth. FTW!

  • @Games2view You hit the nail on the head, it makes YOU wealthy. If you think GDP is a good way to measure "growth" in the developing countries, i would like to ask you where profit comes from? The Workers. Compare the living standard with the GDP "growth" in third world countries where "free" market deals have been made, and you notice that profit comes from taking more from workers' production.

  • @noprofitmaximierung Indeed, without workers there is in fact no economy to speak of. Now, liberalizing an economy creates jobs and opportunities that were not there before. I respectfully don't think your approach is a good one because it wants to look at only one perspective as well. Not to mention that controlled economies are also monopolies of the state. A free market allows the creation of new jobs and some regulation such as minimum wage are indeed good. Balance is key..

  • @Games2view I can recommend you some great literature which I have read because I study economics, on why we need certain liberalism in economies.. The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith, Capitalism and Freedom by Milton Friedman, The Road to Serfdom by Friedrich A. Hayek, The Age Of Turbulence by Alan Greenspan.. Basically free trade is needed to keep moving forward in economic progress. Some regulations, however, are good. Now then the other extreme, the state owning stuff, is just a big monopoly

  • @BigORat Ha Ha, Sounds like God is a Union man!

  • @BigORat .................. seriously?

  • @BigORat It seems the socialist/communist morons in these comments can't understand a VERY simple concept: YOU CAN'T TAX YOURSELF TO PROSPARITY!

  • @0HippyHunter0

Fools doesn't see the reality... come to India, Thailand, Malasia and Brazil what does this Globalizations or Recolonization did... indeed..

  • @Vivekanandainsp I'm not sure what you are trying to say.

  • @0HippyHunter0

Free Trade is good as long as humanbeings deal it.. But when demons enter there; for their profits they will do anything literally anything...

In India.. in hundreds of Villages farmers are killed and their women raped by police.. who were ordered by currupt politicians for the interest of Western Companies (Ex: Enron, UnionCarbide, Salim Groups) 100s to quote.. and Indian youth is deluded in either job hunt or fashion..

  • @Vivekanandainsp I'm guessing you made every word of this up. Just so you know: greed didn't create 1) corruption, 2) rape, 3) injustice. Those have existed centuries before capitalism, and their golden years were in the Soviet Union who forbade evil greedy profits. I don't care what the Indian youth does with their time. I'm 'deluded' with stopping ignorance, is that capitalisms fault?

  • @0HippyHunter0

You really don't see the complete picture of capitalism.. they are not some naive traders, (Indian trade goes back to 3000BC Africa, Middle east and Europe But never enslaved anyone).. British traders (demons) came to india in the name of business and enslaved us.. The same mentality is still there.. All that they wanted is profit.. For that they bribe politicians make rules according to them, they encurage cultural change by media and movies. they manufacture news in their favor

  • @Vivekanandainsp Amazing. Slavery was practiced in India, and on India for centuries. Know what stopped it? British rule. Yep. Again, you're welcome. You create conspiracies where you lack facts; which is what you accuse them of doing (but for some reason they are wrong and you are right). The British didn't bring greed to India, nor did they bring corruption; those both existed for centuries before Britian was a place. Stop acting like India was a utopia before the West got there; bullshit.

  • @0HippyHunter0

I accept one fact british stopped musil slavery but it was worse than that.. don't argue for argument sake.. I am not bothered falling and raising of dharma is our philosophy... India will raise it fullest show of knowledge don't worry.. copurnicus was beaten to death for discovering helio-centric theory; I can understand western mentality.. they live in their holes and think that their hole universe.. 1000 years before copurnicus aryabhatta did everything and india welcomed it.

  • @Vivekanandainsp You are so one sided as to lose all credibility. Many ideas, inventions, changes, or customs were rejected by Indian culture, and don't act like they weren't. The West has embraced more new ideas than anyone else. "Western mentality"? This means nothing. It is the ravings of a person so racist/nationalist that they cannot see 'others' as anything but bad, and 'us' as anything but good. Copurnicus was beaten to death? No, he died peacefully after a stroke? MAN!

  • @0HippyHunter0

You are taking it personally buddy.. But what British did to india worse than what muslims did.. muslims killed people & converted to islam but british destroyed education system and technology.. Can you believe still in our text books we read wrong history made-up by british...

  • @Vivekanandainsp THEN FIX THE BOOK! ! ! I feel your country is doomed to backwardness if you'd rather have several centuries of slavery and war than an easily fixable textbook. Britian doesn't control India, these are your problems. Every history book doesn't have to match up to your vision of the world, and there isn't a conspiracy if it doesnt.

  • @0HippyHunter0

The problem is same.. now black-britishers are ruling the country.. there is a huge cry since 1947 to change syllabus but.. black-britishers will loose there families credit and dark sides will opened.. and other looters will be exposed so for them syllabus is not being changed..

  • @0HippyHunter0

Truth tastes really bitter buddy needs large hearts.. What is that language which borrows word 'mother' from Sanskrit.. and today boasts its self as a sistery language of Sanskrit.. not only that there are 1000s of words to mention. 1000s of years of indian civilization and science nature never faced any adversities of today.. Europian science max dates back to 17th century and look at the nature condition right now...

  • @0HippyHunter0

Try to guess their demonic interest.. they want to trade water so they are restricting on Govt. to not improve or repair drinking water facilities..

They call it 'Its white-man Burden' to civilize others, but indeed its burden of Indian philosohy to humanize these white devils...

  • @Vivekanandainsp Again, this is entirely made up and without merit. Does this mean it couldn't happen? No. It certainly could. But, again, none of this is because of capitalism all of this existed LONG before capitalism. In fact, what you describe is not capitalism, its greed. I know socialists/communists don't have the mental discipline to see the difference, but there is a world between them.

  • @0HippyHunter0

Development doesn't mean GDP.. if some demon said it why should all fools follow it?.. India says if wealth is lost nothing is lost, if health is lost somthing is lost and if character is lost everything is lost...

Development of India Can be measure by: no of rape cases, no of women harrassments, no of deaths due to hunger, no of deaths due to high price of medicine; no of people denied good education becoz of poverty, no of farmers suicides, no of pending cases...

  • @Vivekanandainsp What demon? Do you hear yourself? I agree that the word 'development' is broad enough to encompass all those things, and personally believe absence of starvation to be a major indicator. Lets talk about this: the WHO says in 1981 59% of South Asia (India is included) lived at the extreme poverty level (below $1.25/day, adjusted, PPP). By 2005 that was down to 41%. Was medicen free there 50 years ago? Oh yeah, they didn't have any; gee thanks Western World. "NO farmer suicides"?

  • @0HippyHunter0

I can gaurantee that you really don't know about india and its glorious history... before 50 years it was just out of British tyranny.. how can you expect the conditions to be good... FYI: in india before 1836 (Macaulay) Education, Medicine and Justice were free and equal for all... You speak of medicine.. go and ask British royal society from where did they copied vaccination technique, surgery and its instruments,.. Shushruthu did eye surgey in 3000BC

  • @Vivekanandainsp AHAHAHAHA! ! ! You're killing me with this history lesson! If India came up with vaccination why did the West go back to India to cure Small Pox? Measels? Mumps? Rubela? You need to look up the difference between innoculation and vaccination. Your "free and equal" medicine was shit. India came up with the idea of a small sharp knife? Or catheters? Bullshit. Coming up with letter A doesn't equate to creating the alphabet, the West has saved humanity; in spite of you.

  • @0HippyHunter0

Check British Documents of India to find the answers, how they strategically and in a well planned way destroyed Indian Education system (Gurukuls) with that gone the medecine and justice too, how they destroyed blast furnaces of india, how they destroyed textiles of india, how they destroyed architecturals techniques of india..

  • @Vivekanandainsp You are using the word "destroy" in a very loose, and frankly, dishonest way. Not only that, you can't prove yourself with anything other than rantings of racists. These mean nothing to me.

  • @0HippyHunter0

I have been to UK & Italy I met with common people they are passionate humanists as in India.. but I can never forgive the capitalists of olden time or now.. FYI: One more american company showed its true face: last week in Vijayawada, Actimus Bio abducted some students by luring high pay part-times and tested medicines on them, after 3 days two guys escaped and reported to police...

  • @Vivekanandainsp This story is made up. The entire internet doesn't know about it, just you and your nationalistic hate. Huh. Who to believe? Funny that you just call them capitalists and therefore they must be capitalists. You were dealing with colonists (which is no form of capitalism I know of) and today you are dealing with 1) your own corruption, and 2) dishonest business men; again neither of which come from capitalism. Further, the reasons you hate have existed for millenia.

  • @0HippyHunter0

For more info on indian medicine and technology, find out about German's research into sanskrit and india. At least if a white race says another might listen with open hearts..

  • @0HippyHunter0

Really wanna see the Demon face of your capitalists.. then google for 'Vivekananda Inspired + Dharmameva Sarvopari' check the first link. (in that see Globalization). You seriously think democracy is new topic right but for India its very very ancient topic.. You seriously don't know about indian science too... check glimpse of past on the same site... Dare to face the truth...

  • @Vivekanandainsp Who thinks democracy is new? Nobody I know. I don't CARE about Indian science. A country full of people starving to death, rife with disease and corruption, and you want me to care about their science? Produce something, I'll buy it. Until then, watch, listen and learn. I dare to not waste my time. Any show that would support your unbelievably ignorant opinions is not remotely useful to me. BTW, wheres your proof that starvation got worse in India since "the West showed up"?

  • @0HippyHunter0

If you come to india you can find villages where Govt. never went for stats or development.. but police jails them if they enter forests. As forests must be preserved for western companies deforestation.. Dumb asshole statistics might show true figures in Britain or US but not in India..

  • @Vivekanandainsp Dumb statistics? Is this how you deal with contrary statistics? WHO is the most reliable source of statistics on poverty. You can rest assured that the WHO in India is staffed by Indians, not evil awful horrible white people. Ironically, the Arabs enslaved your people for centuries, but you blame whites for every bad facet of your society, even if you, or they, caused it. Racism should be a sign of genetic inferiority; sterilization being the only cure.

  • @0HippyHunter0

OOOOO dude you have completely taken me wrong... I don't hate or will never hate white people except their capitalists... And you people don't have any right to say others are racists.. and the suffering that white race caused on this earth none did.. I feel you must see Malcom-X movie's first 5 min..

  • @Vivekanandainsp You repeately cite these sources of propaganda to me, as though I don't know they are propaganda. Malcom X was a racist; his ideology was based on racisim. He believed in violence against whites. Maybe you should look into non-biased source of information, maybe a source or two that say "on the one hand...and on the other." Your hate for capitalism is fueled by ignorance and ideology, not fact. Just know that.

  • @0HippyHunter0

Can you deny the claims made in first five minutes the movie... And don't be rude dude, if blacks are beeing linched brutally its their right to fight back.. and you see that as violence not other way round

  • @0HippyHunter0

How can you deny your history dude.. what is USA??? It is burial ground of red-indians on which spanians built thier beatiful homes.. will you deny this too.. You claim malcom-X propogated violence, what about violence on black, does your eyes go blind on that fact??? and how come black people came to america??

  • @Vivekanandainsp Who is blind? Did Malcom X propagate violence or not? I don't care if he thought he was justified. All people, you are a great example, believe themselves to be justified. Why do black people come to America? Its amazing to me that you still wont ackowledge my sources or my facts. I disprove you and you just move on, like you didn't just get disproved. You don't know what you are talking about, and this page is proof.

  • @0HippyHunter0

but still if you want to look in to facts, unemployment in 1991 was - 4 crs.. and now Unemp. - 22 Crs population increased by half but unemp. increased nearly 6 times.. And many 'White' scholars papers are publishing on 'Why India loosing war on hunger'.. why???????

  • @Vivekanandainsp As though their race matters to me. You wanna know why you're facing the issues you're facing: YOU WON'T STOP BREEDING! Overpopulation is destroying your country, its starving your poeple, and nature is trying to control you with disease. I CANNOT wait to see how you blame this on white men. "You comin' over here inpregnantin' our womens."

  • @0HippyHunter0

You are being rasist here, as many white women married indians that many indian women married white dudes so whats the deal here?? And i feel huge population is our strrength not curse...

  • @Vivekanandainsp Remember those "white scholars writing papers on India losing the fight against hunger." You are losing this fight because you won't stop having children. This is EXTREMELY basic: if you don't have enough food to feed 4 people, you don't try to feed 5.. There isn't a single credible scholar on India that would say overpopulation isn't a problem.

  • @0HippyHunter0

I don't believe in western propagand of over population.. in 1947 foo production was 4.5 Cr tonns and now it is 35 cr tonns.. population is increased 4 times, food production increased 8 times.. but still starvation trippled.

I accept its not right to blame others when ourself have traitors in Govt.. once we kick them out then can expect, good things..

  • @0HippyHunter0

FYI: you talk about facts right, America uses 40% of world's natural resources... India's utilization is in single digits...

  • @Vivekanandainsp Cite a source on that. I can't tell you how many times I've had the honor of disproving this. You could try to prove it by citing oil consumption.

  • @0HippyHunter0

We shall end this here.. I'm sorry if you felt the I hated white race but not i never did, but when i read stmts like 'Its white-man burden' after destroying indian science, my reply then pertains to whole white race... The intention of world trade may be good; but the results are worse, i feel the capitalists already forgot that they are humans (not only western but indians too)... just look at the example of 'Actimus Bio' can you call it human???

  • @Vivekanandainsp You know White Man's Burden was a single poem, not an ideology. Not only I can't name a single white person that could recite a line of that poem. I look back and see all the statements you made that were disproven, only to have you make the same claims over again. Not once did you acknowledge that you had just made up fact, even after I disproved them. Your readings, your education, and your friends are not telling you the facts, they are telling you their ideology.

  • @0HippyHunter0

my friend actimus bio is not made up fact (3 days back i watched on TV the stupid explanation of comapny too, blaming students that they accepted to it), copurnicus assasination is not made-up, british destruction of indian education is not made up... western capitalists/colonists looting india is not made-up... For you happiness you can modify things. you feel that you desproved me i don't agree with you.. I bet you if all western-companies out of india it will be developed soon

  • @Vivekanandainsp These things absolutely are made up. Copernicus died in his sleep at 70 y/o, you can check it out. Your actimus bio story is also completely made up. Western companies out? You think the Indians would some how, magically, produce 50 years of progress in a, what, month? Decade? It's amazing to me how ungrateful some people are. They are so worried that their nation won't be recognized as 'great' that they will lie.

  • @0HippyHunter0

And don't forget indian Ayurveda + Yoga rocks till date.. I see to that day when all this medical robbery gonna end and free medice shall be given to the world...

  • @0HippyHunter0

FYI: since the ghost of westernization & globalization caught to India, all the previous things i mentioned are increasing very rapidly....

  • @Vivekanandainsp Feel free to get an M.D. and give away your services. There is absolutely nothing stopping you. I will always pay for medicine and doctors, even if you succeed in making it "free." Why? Because I want medicine that works, and doctors that care: look at the care taken of people in communist Russia, its a nightmare come to life.

  • @MrAppleseed88 Again, WTF are you talking about? We just watched, since the dawn of free trade, the largest increase in standard of living, life expectancy, and freedom that has ever been seen. When we look at communist countries, they are depressed, oppressed, and lacking even the most basic freedoms. Wages were 'ground down' the average family is making double today what they were making 20 years ago, and that was double from the previous 10.

  • @MrAppleseed88 Low paying? Would you rather have the $1/hour job the chinese have? Feel free to leave, they agree with your ideals, too. I would hate for you to spend another day around us greedy rich slaves (compare your average american to the average citizen of the world). If you'd like help packing I'm here! USA is dead? Only if you get your way, which I'm dead set you wont. If we need to have a war over it, I'm down.

  • @0HippyHunter0 Yes, war it is. I agree. These people need to die.

  • @MrAppleseed88 By these people you mean me. And I'll be damned if you can just kill us with no repercussions. All ignorance must be wiped from the face of this Earth.

  • It is insane to ship all raw resources to one part of the globe and then ship the finished product all over the globe. It is wasteful and all good sold should be manufactured no more then 200 miles form market to reduce wasteful energy used in shipping and moving goods. Just in time manufacturing is also wasteful, and batches of products should be shipped in standard size to reduce energy wasted in shipping.

  • I am no expert, but from all the information I have got from different sources, Nike (part of US economy like any other US mulitnational corporation) is benefitting from low cost of production... but at the same time, people in poor country got the source of income.. US citizen get the cheaper product along with the world... win-win situation I must say.

it is good to have debate in order to regulate it so that poor are not exploited, and finding alternative to solve the unemployment problem.

  • @nemo82mi

Cheap products that are of low quality. That isn't a trade-off.

  • Excellent basic overview I was taught by colin m Lewis at LSE quite brilliant

  • Free trade is a name given to the scheme that King George used to undermine the colonial economy. The intent was to stop American colonists from amassing real wealth. So, of course it destroyed the US economy when implemented today. Trade isn't a new concept. World trade isn't a new concept. Treason isn't a new concept either.

  • A measure economic understanding is evident in, and synonymous with, how much you agree with Austrian economics.

This sounds a bit too absolute, i know. but i guarantee once you understand Austrian economics, you will see it is effectively atheism in the 1800's, shunned but completely correct.

Please read 'Economics in one lesson' by Hazlitt, and you will know what i mean. i only wish someone told me to read it earlier.

  • Interesting video for inspirationnal videos you can visit Goodnesstv

  • i am against free trade and protectionism. There must be a balance in trade because it creates competition in domestic economy and efficiency against world market.

  • @nightworld0092003 It's not possible to be against both, they're mutually exclusve.

  • @n8style It is possible to be against both. For example: a developed country has got a lot of natural resource. Local companies does have the money to extract the natural resource but it is not as efficient as foreign companies. So do you protect your natural resource or let the foreigner come in becaz they are more efficient and environmental friendly? or a propose of a joint venture where both companies takes a share of the profit from natural resource and keep a balance of trade...

  • @nightworld0092003 With respect it sounds like you're not sure what the terms mean.

  • @n8style

1 Free trade might destroy your local companies. Protecting you local companies might cost the government subsidies. So do you protect or create competition.

2 Free trade have made poor people even more poorer. Please do read the statistics.

3 Developed countries protecting their own farmers with extremely high subsidizes and later on dumping on 2 African countries. dumping have caused local companies to go out of business and in result losing jobs.

  • @nightworld0092003 free trade is opposite to pretectionism you cant be against both.

  • @hellomyfriend2053 i was never against both. i said there should a balance.
