koRn's Davis is a BEAST...but chester did a better cover...its more appropriate to me. he still has that angry rage in the background tone, but his voice is beautiful when he sings normal, thats what the song was more or less "meant" to sound like

Due to a clause in his contract he couldnt be used anywhere but in the movie so they had a bunxh of others rerecord the vocals. Songs like Forsaken can be found with jon singing and one with David Draiman from disturbed as is with this song

well good news then: they haven't. jonathan davis did the whole original album score for QOTD, however, due to contractural stipulations, he could only perform on the movie and not on the album. HE then had CHESTER sing it for the album. Linkin park, disturbed, marilyn manson, and static x had NOTHING to do with the writing or musical performance of any tracks on QOTD. the lead singers just redid the vocals for the album.

Its a bit more... complicated than that... Johnathan Davis wrote most of the queen of the damned soundtrack. All of lestat's songs were sung by him however his record company would not allow him to sing on the soundtrack, so davis had artists he knew and was friends with do the vocals, so you have basically gothic korn with davis in the movie, then other great singers on teh soundtrack....
