Did you pick up on the balloon reference? When the Doctor was talking about the logistics of the conception of Melodie (accompanied by some hilarious facial expressions, especially when he came to the realisation of "wedding night"), he used the phrase "how am I supposed to know, it's not like they put a balloon out or anything". Slightly tenuous, but quite an odd expression if you think about it.
@Timmeh7 I did notice that! I was too busy being amused by his awkward frazzled state to actually realise that by specifically mentioning a balloon it does indeed once again link back to the red balloon sightings! Hm... What on earth could is possibly mean! Are they simply just representing happy times? :s Surely it has to be something bigger and greater than that.
@Willish Well given how this season's been going it must be some sort of sinister overtone, but the only sinister thing I can think of relating to balloons is... well, clowns. Maybe the Doctor's going to fight Pennywise, heh. No really, I suppose thinking about it, the Master loves childlike things, my best guess is it's related to him.

I like Torchwood but I actually lost interest mid season 2 so I suppose I should catch up on season 2 before starting the new series.
