Everyone has the same opportunities to control their diabetes, but some chose to ignore it. The longer you have diabetes the more chance of complications but technology has come a long way and there is great hope for all of those with diabetes!

this video is amazing. i dont have diabetes but my best friend does. i help by going with her to check her sugar at school. its really hard on her having to leave class 4 times a day so i go with her. she hates pricking her finger so after she is done i always kiss it to help. i know its wierd and kinda lame but i dont care. i love her and i would do anything to help her. I thought i had diabetes but i was lucky and all i have is low blood surger witch is when i don't eat surger for a while i tend to faint or just dizzy with a majour headache i am only 11 and i didn't know what diabetes was intill one of my family members got it my mom thought that i might of had it but i don't with is good for me but sad for people that do have it (if you watch big brother 9 amanda has low blood surger and thats what i have)

i knw a lady with diabeites shes pregnant and was diagnosed with it and it could be really harmful to her and the baby she cant even eat fruit because of it and she is a single mother with tweo kids hoping they will let her husband go too help her she is in my prayers and so is this other lady and nicholas j jonas i luv u
i have diabetes and its not going too well right now. its very emotional and very hard on me. I take 8 shots a day and 8 blood sugar tests, please pray for me, and for the scientists, pray for god to lead them in the right direction of a cure, because it is in reach. thanks for the support=D

This video is so amazing. My brother was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in July of last year. It was one of the toughest times in my life. He is my hero and if it wasnt for Nick raising his hand that day exactly a year ago I might not have been able to take it as well as i did. I know that both Nick and My brother Issac are both strong but i still get sad everytime i think about diabetes.

my mom has diabetes and my aunt and grandma on both sides. my mom had almost lost my little brother along with her life because she had a seizer while pregant they are both okay though nick j is my hero because he is helping raise awarness and all these important people in my life are effected by what he does thank you for making this
2 of my grandparents have diabetes and one of those 2 grandparents passed away but not from diabetes it happend in the summer and that school was a bad on for me

doing everything he's supossed to do.
Danny Joe Brown, the former lead singer of
Molly Hatchet, also had Type 1 Diabetes,
and had it a lot worse than Nick.
Danny suffered a stroke in 1998, been in
and out of ICU numerous times, and died of
complications in March 2005.

look, i'm goning to start off by saying that i don't cry from videos. i am not a total sap and i just don't get into things often.
