  • Oh my goodness! At 3:50. That was Rabbit's idea in the book. The animals never saw a Kanga and a Roo before so they wanted them to leave. Rabbit was going to steal Roo while Pooh distracted her and Piglet got in her pouch. They wanted her to see that they didn't like her and force her to leave. Basically, he wanted to hold Roo hostage. Kanga just thought they were playing though, so she gave piglet a bath, pretending to think he was Roo. I guess they couldn't show the kids that. lol.

  • Go Roo!

  • xDDDDDDD Piglet's scream! 8:20

  • this episode is based on a chapter from the original books

  • I don't understand; there was an episode when Tigger had a bath and his stripes were gone, but he takes a bath this time and they're still there. Isn't that confusing?

  • I love Kanga & Roo <3 I love how Roo takes a bath with his shirt on

  • Oh Lord... I LOVE piglet!!!!!!

  • @MaNdYfAn95 oh d d d d dear

  • ohhh she insulted piglet right to his face lol

  • ok buddy bear, you know what to do? mmmhmmm ah no,

ha ha ha, thats great GO DO IT!

    i about died of laughter

  • Why do kids hate baths so much? I remember I despised them!

  • Tigger sounds like Gargamel when he starts singing.

  • "We're fugitives from justice!"

  • @FrankTheShyGuy "Injustice."

  • AHA! Aha! Aha! Aha. Aha... Aha..? AHA?

Piglet was soooo funny in that part XD

  • when I went to the cinema with my family to see piglett's BIG movie - i could remember this episode from the very scene they had switched roo with piglett :)

  • I remember this cartoon being cute, not insanely trippy like at 2:55. That was slightly disturbing, to say the least.

  • To be fair this is by far the only episode that is more or less base on the chapter from the actuall book

  • maybe we should do this again....like next year

  • @RebmaBoss Yeah she is. She reminds me a whole lot of my Mom.

  • We're fugitives from the law!!! Lol

  • Tigger:" I am allergic to water, I will break out in clean spots."

  • ohmygod

    I LOVE WINNIE THE POOH

i want to see the movie sooooo sooo sooooo much!

  • i remember that episode! good memories.

  • This is just like the flashback in Piglet's Big Movie except they like Kanga! Even the Aha! thing, it's just a little bit different

  • @bluegatoradelover Well they had that story in the book.

  • @bluegatoradelover This is beacose it is take out of the oryginal Pooh books by A.A. Milne. Some lines like "If you keep making faces like, a piglet...." are in fact from the book

  • Or Sister!

  • Ohhhhhhhhh-kaaaaaaaaaay, Tigger's song was REALLY trippy!

  • Aaw that's so mean of Kanga at 6:32 "If you keep making faces like a piglet, you'll grow up to look like a Piglet, and think of how sorry you'll be!"

  • @RebmaBoss

    Yeah I agree

  • They should take a bath if not your but will smell iw

  • A lot of weather we've been having lately....LOL

  • LOVE this show!!

  • "but roo dear, tigger's your friend! don't you wanna be dirty together?"

  • I think I can see a bird. Unless of course it's a fish.

  • squealy clean reminds of patrick from spongebob squaremonts movie haha

  • How can you not see that that is clearly Piglet?

  • This resembles Piglet's Big Movie.

  • @ThePokemaster771: More like Piglet's Big Movie resembles this & the Milne book, because this show was on prior to the 2003 film, but this whole bit came from an actual chapter in the Milne stories,

  • It is funny because the moms name is Kanga and the sons name is Roo. Put it together... Kangaroo

  • Piglet was always my favorite :)

  • Tigger acts like a baby!

    9:45-9:49

  • Tigger and Roo are stuck!

    9:35

  • Big explosion reminds me of World War II

    7:13

  • Tigger's infamous laugh

    3:51

  • Tigger dies

    3:23

  • I'm allergical to water! LOL!!!

  • Kanga:Oh,roo! Quick.Hide. There, all it needs is a little sunshine and... Tigger:Help! Help! Help! Piglet! Slam! Piglet! You gotta hide us. We are fugitives. But,but.... If Roo gets caught, the end. Hello? Aah! Oh,d-dear. [Yelling,Indistinct] Tigger:Yea,go see who it is,Piglet. It is only Kanga! Kanga?!? Kanga?!? Roo:Hide me.Hide me. Tigger:Quick, quick, under here.

  • LOL

I'll break out in clean spots!!!

  • 8:13-8:30 I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING!!!!!!!!!XD

    XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

  • This reminds me of Piglet's Big Movie.

  • Tigger you drama queen! XD

  • Why on earth did they leave the one good hiding place they had at 1:19? XD

  • @RebmaBoss She sure is. She loves Roo so much. Where is Roo's dad?

  • Tigger: I'll bounce them, I'll trounce them, I'll massacre them!

Best quote I've heard when I saw this.

  • Tigger: If roo gets caught then it's THE END!

    oh tigger. XD so dramatic!

  • lol

Pooh: Have you noticed that tree over there?

Kanga: Why yes pooh its a very nice tree, it has leaves and everything.

Pooh: Now about that tree i think i can see a bird in it.

    Kanga: A bird!

Pooh: Yes of course unless it's a fish

    XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD very funny

  • "it's a lot like being dirty, only...not!" ROFL! I did not know Tigger could be paradoxical!

  • OMG, I LOVED THIS EPISODE! And this song too! XD

  • Yeah Tigger, doom Piglet instead of Roo. Jim Cummings is a good Tigger, but Winchell was much better.

  • how I miss Paul Winchel's Tigger

  • @Poever I know how U feel. Once a voice actor and ventriliquist dies, he can't come back to life anymore. As a child,I won't go anywhere near Tigger, because I was afraid to think I would get bounced on fast enough for him to crush my liver.

  • poor piglet! so abused

  • This episode is in many ways an imitation of the story where Kanga and Roo move in. Except in that story Rabbit takes Roo away from Kanga with the plan of not giving him back until they leave. He replaces Roo with Piglet and Kanga is not nice to Piglet. She pretends she thinks he's Roo, but says insulting things to him.

  • wow this is in a way sad Kanga gets the least screen time in movies and shows and shes the only female but not only that in the series when she does her artwork isnt even done correctly I mean in the movies her pouch is pink to right to her bottom and her tail is fully brown but they added pink to the tail bottom which I dont mind but somtimes they were just brown I dont know for what reason so wouldnt it just be easy to leave the tail brown I hope she gets more screen time in future in 2011

  • @SirTimothyMarton well there's one other female in the cartoon and that's Kessie the bird, but she doesn't appear that often

  • @musicbox193 Thats not one I mean Kessie is in the series only and maybe shes in it only two episode but she still appears more than Kanga all in all and when shes here the episodes are about her Kangas always a secondary act and even that way its not fair I meant in the original Winnie the Pooh Group Kanga is the only female and how wierd is it how little attention she gets

Kessie is a new character but when shes in at least she has some attention

  • 01.40 How cute piglet! :D

  • *sigh* this is when Cartoons were actually good! :) Cartoons these days are nothing but blech! :P :( :'( *sigh* I miss the good ole days :'(

  • "Go see who it is, Tigger!"

"Uh, yeah, go see who it is, uh, Piglet!"

    KICK!

    lol that part's too funny... Tigger's a big scaredy-cat :P

  • *lol*

... but who can that be? I'm not quite sure. *lol*

  • @RebmaBoss I agree! You gotta love Kanga!

  • lets see who can blow the biggg-gg-et--esstttt bubble. +powwww* a sticky preerdictmandt

  • Tigger shouldn't have said no Roo here, just this plant. That's like giving her the hint that the plant is suspicious.

  • There was no way that potted plant disguise would work. XD

  • I'm watching this and the one from Piglet's Big Movie at the same time. The differences are astounding!

  • what episode is it where Pooh and Piglet actually trade shirts?

I was thinking about it because one of my friends asked me what animal Piglet was. If he was part bee or something. I explained to him that Piglet didn't have a striped body; he just wore a striped leotard all the time. Regardless, it was a rather odd answer to a rather odd question.

  • She must love Roo very much.

  • I just did a Mothers Day picture featuring Kanga and Roo. Anyone want to se it. It's on my deviant page.

  • HAHA!

    Piglet: My rhodendron!

    Tigger: It's a roodendra now

  • Why was that funny? My parents and I had a rhodendron 1 time. It died on us!

  • I thought that was funny cause Tigger throws the flower in his face

  • I mean dirt

  • Ha ha. Tigger breaking the fourth wall!

"No but I was right about one thing it is the end."

  • This is why prefer showers

  • can you upload piglet's poohetry if you have it my little brother is desperate

  • The plot reminds me of Piglet's Big Movie.

  • @AmishParadise27

Both this and the part of Piglet's Big Movie are based on one of the original stories...

  • Yeah. I read the original story recently. Only this has Tigger in Rabbit's place and Pooh playing both his parts in Christopher Robin's. Too bad there was no mention of Henry Pootel. Also, is this the only 'New Adventures' ep based on an original story?

  • @Daffyfan2006 well Roo is kidnapped in the actual story, he doesn't escape by choice. Rabbit is kind of a jerk in that story because he tries to force them to leave.

  • @Spikero2 Yeah, exept in Piglet's Big Movie Kanga is a bit nicer to Piglet

  • Tigger:I,m "alergicl" to water.

  • I break out in clean sports. Awsomest lines in the whole episode.

  • Comment removed

  • She is! She reminds me of my Mom! She's a great mom too like Kanga!

  • "ok buddy bear, you know what to do?"

    "EHMHMHMHM!...no."

gets me every time! I LOVE pooh!!!

  • Is it just me or is Kanga smarter than all the other citizens in the 100 Acre Wood??

  • @AmishParadise27 well she is smart but christopher robnis mom is smart

  • @AmishParadise27 well shes the only one with a child she should be more responsible of course

  • @AmishParadise27 pretty much, yeah

  • @AmishParadise27 not really it's the owl

  • @woobiwoodpecker1 oh yeah. Forgot about the owl.

  • @AmishParadise27 ya i forgot about the owl until i saw a picture of it

  • @AmishParadise27 i think she not smarter than everyone

  • @AmishParadise27 Ummm.... welll she DID mistake Piglet for Roo, so... Not so sure 'bout that

  • @confused351 I think she was just playing along... pretending that Piglet was Roo.

  • @AmishParadise27 While Im not sure about this cartoon in the book she actually misteks Pigglet for Roo at one point... She wasn't very bright in the book

  • @AmishParadise27

No one in the 100 Acre Wood is smarter than Owl.

  • Am I the only one who notices that the animation has blatantly been changed(I hesistate to say "improved") from the original 1989 style? Some of the audio(particularly when piglet says "rhododendron") seems kind of...edited...too. Why is this? It's driving me crazy!

  • cool

  • The only problem with this series is the animation. Why does Kanga only have half a pouch? Why is Rabbit green instead of yellow? I'm glad they changed that stuff in later productions.

  • @Daffyfan2006

Rabbit was only yellow in the original shorts. Personally I think he looks better green. He looked a little weird when he was yellow.

  • I disagree. I like his original yellow color. They actually restored his old yellow coloring after 'The New Adventures" series. Greenish-gray doesn't do it for me for some reason, but you're entitled to your opinion.

  • There's a difference between a small frightful pig and a joey tigger wanna-bee, Kanga.

  • THE END!!!!!

  • Scrubbily bubbily!! luv this quote!!!

  • luv this one!

  • How did Kanga know that Roo was hiding in Piglet's roododendron pot?

  • More importantly how did she not even recognize Piglet?

  • I think she knew who Piglet was but she knew that someone was playing a trick on her and wanted her to think Piglet was Roo so she played along and pretended that Piglet was Roo! It was just like in Piglet's BIG Movie!

  • Almost. This is more obscure than the sequence in Piglet's Big Movie.

  • Now, I wish I'd seen that movie. I'd probably understand better what people are talking about. Lol.

  • By not seeing Roo (little joey that is her son) while Tigger hid under the couch.

  • Be serious. How did she know that Roo was hiding in that roododendron pot?

  • Kanga knew that Roo was hiding in the roododendron pot by carrying taking out her little joey and putting him in her pouch after taking the supply of bubbly bath.

  • I mean how did she know in the first place?

  • @TVLubber Maybe she saw her son's little feet and besides Roo had a little too much exposure.

  • I think Kanga knew it was Roo even when Tigger was hiding him but she pretended that she didn't know he was there and when tigger hid under the window with relief she picked up Roo and took him with her!

  • Tigger wins.

  • This episode was really funny!I wonder if the people SpongeBob used the "stuck in a bubblegum" gag for "The Gift of Gum".Anyone notices it?

  • Yes!

  • @ 1:26 "Nah, too obvious."

    O RLY, Tigger?

  • The end!

  • See?

  • That title and To Bee Or Not To Bee is from FETCH!

  • indian: Actually, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh came BEFORE Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman. XD

  • Different series'.

  • when Roo and Tigger get stuck in the gum web i guess you can say they were in a sticky situation

  • Old joke, but still a little funny.

  • Yeah. I remember this was in the original 'Winnie the Pooh' book. Only it was Rabbit who played with Roo instead of Tigger.

  • At last! One of my very favorite Winnie the Pooh episodes!

  • I love how Kanga says, "Scrubbly-bubbly." It always makes me smile. ;-)

  • Roo is a cute little joey!

  • Comment removed

  • Deja vu. It's actually rare to find episodes of tNAoWtP that are based on chapters from the original books.

  • also, LOL at Tigger the Snake!!

  • I loved it when Tigger said I'm too young to bay! LOL

Thank you for the episodes MisterGolfer. I love Pooh episodes. Do you think you could upload EEYORE'S TAIL TALE?

  • 0:17, 2:16, 7:12, 8:16, and 9:29 were funny.

  • I found it so funny when Kanga bathed Piglet, I mean first she messes with his nose for who knows why? And what she says while scrubbing him was pure gold, imagine if other moms used that quote while bathing their child

  • i wonder if Kanga knew it was Piglet and was playing along.

  • Of course she did. She knew it was Roo hiding in the flower pot, and that it was Piglet all this time, but played along only to humor him. And when Piglet thought Pooh would set things straight his thoughts were shattered when he didn't know it was him, and Piglet thought he was going insane that no one knew who he was.

  • piglet losing his mind reminded me of when spongebob went insane when patrick and his parents kept thinking he was stupid.

  • PS, those weren't actually his parents.

  • I've wondered that too.

  • well, when was this aired other than saturday? Only the date and the year is required!

  • my favorite part of this what where Tigger sang

  • At 7:14, what a huge bubble pop!

  • Yeah, when was this aired?

  • Somewhere around 1988 and 1989.

tv(DOT)com has the official air date.

  • Thank you soo much for posting this! It's one of my favorite episodes!
