i like to point out to people who say that weed is a gateway drug that the first drug most commonly used is alcohol. but beyond that the whole gateway concept is a logical fallacy. i drank milk before i did herion. does that mean milk is a gateway to hard drugs?
also, there definately are withdrawls from quitting weed. they are just very mild compared to other drugs. any chemicle you intake habitually will have an effect when stopped cold turkery. the severity ranges.

I think the best argument against weed is that if you end marijuana prohibiton right now I believe there would be massive lay offs in various industries that for years have profited of the current laws. I think if weed just became legal America would see the highest unemloyement rate ever recorded. Weed legalization would hurt alot of people making money and would threaten countless jobs. The money made from illegal weed sales flows right back into the system anyway so why change the system.
