Friends were so convinced that only music related to classical was actually metal.. Yes there are some similarities, but trance is classical music.. and I adore and can't live without both trance and classical...

I used to be one.. Bad marks, always trying to prove something.. then I went to University, and got the highest marks, was president of student parliament and had various projects behind me...

Kids and people in general would make the same guess.. It's just the way how they think, when they don't know a thing about the matter...

this will seriously help alot of people feel trance better.. i mean put this on.. and then put the actual mix on.. and you're like boom i actually like this song in trance because i actually understood the tune... because alot of the people are just too bugged out by the beat so they turn the song off before the tune's start.. so this will give them a, sorta, general look at it before they actually get to listen to it.. it is seriously just fantastic..

I feel you yeah... but its just the opposite with me... I always liked trance but never cared much for the classics... but this is outstanding! since i first heard one of the andy bluemans tunes a whole new horizone opened up to me.. I respect classics now and actually find some tunes quite breathtaking ;)

@4001440 Thank you very much.. and i understand trance.. sadly i am not majoring in a music major but am currently trying to find my way through producing on logic pro.. it seems really hard and i mostly had no clue once i started 2 months ago and now i feel like i sorta got it.. its no armin van buuren styled music. but, hey, look at it this way, thats how everything started.. :)

In fact ive tries more than most I had an ecstasy honeymoon that lasted 15 years and believe me i love beats but this piece is best without. thats not fact thats my opinion. I could try and justify or persuade but the simple fact is that beats regardless of tempo allways suggest action and sometimes contemplation of the melody and its story are all that is required.

don't get me wrong i love this version.. but i want life in what i'm listening so i listen to the original.. if i want to fully calm down though, i still wouldn't listen to this.. there is SO much better chill-out/lounge music out there.. but this should do it too.. i'm just saying..

@gaj1012 I see your point. I think taste is the result of exposure to whatever the subject matter. If your used to beats then beats it is. the first music man learned to appreciate was the music of life. the wind in the tress. the water falling over the rocks the sound of birds. Even in the womb we hear our mothers heartbeat so i guess rhythm and melodies are essential in life if not in all music. dont forget that as far as the composition of music is concerned beats are a relatively new thing

@jfmn24 i agree they are pretty new.. but i still think that things like lounge/chill-out relate to "the music of life" more than classical.. it may just be me, but i like the earth like feeling in them..

i could tell you over a thousand reason why i love something that you might disagree with them, but i think we all know that the world is made up of opinions, we just have to listen to them and respect them because we never know the reasoning behind those opinions..
