I would have made more maps but I could never actually get people to play this or the 2 others (originals) I made for far cry 2 so it didn't seem worth the time they take.

As such I wouldn't even really recommend those asking about making it try one themselves on a game that doesn't have an active userbase, I'd look into pc 3d programs and engines which are obviously very different..

About a year ago, i made a map i called "volcano island".. theres loads of them out there, but mines was especially large... higher point was the maximum ceiling, the width was the maximum width e.t.c and it literally took me about 2 weeks to build it all up...

the most popular maps were pirates of the caribean and star trek builds, so that says a lot about the FC2 fanbase.

Lol my PC cost me 80 pounds more than my xbox and it has 500gb storage and can play crysis maxed out. The xbox 360 has a superior GPU compared to the PS3 and is also far easier to make games for.
