Don't buy this 3D lens, the pictures it produces are useless. Such an interaxial separation (1 cm) causes hypostereoscopy, thus is produces far less depth than your eyes are able of doing.

Panasonic needs to invent a 3D lens for "experts" (which can go on the AF-100 too I believe). This one is crap and for €50 more, you can buy a Fuji W3 camera, which is the most advanced (and affordable) 3D camera one can get. Panasonic is really in late in terms of consumer 3D.

I am planning on buying a GH2, but I need it to output live video-out when filming and photographing, not only when using playback. Anyone know if GH2 does this?

Thanks so much for this very-to-the-point presentation. With the Canon 7D or 5D you cannot even in a dream have autofocus, even manual focus is different. Can anybody kindly tell me if I can, old-fashioned as I am, use the viewfinder for shooting videos? On the Canon SLRs you can't do that which puts me off. Also compare the much better sound quality of the GH2 with the primitive mono-recording of the D5. And then please tell me why I should spend 1700$ more for the D5? Is it the image quality?

@ipublica You can indeed use the viewfinder when shooting video, since the viewfinder is an EFV.
