Can I please see this a bit as a tribute to my mama,who died sept 15.last year? Her Nr.1 was always Joan Sutherland...and she used to sing Opera&Operette herself...I grew up with my Mom singing&Joan...I love Joan's voice and for me she will always be Nr.1!

Wonderful. To this very day seeing that gives me a chill down my spine and a tear to my eye. I was at this final performance in Sydney at the Opera House for her farewell to the stage. The most moving night of my life!
I envy you for having been there, but at the same time thankful for that you appreciated it. Joans voice is tired after four decades of relentless singing and rehearsing. Such dedication and endurance. Extraordinary if that word ever was in place. Thank you Joan.
